I received the U-Haul truck on empty, almost didn’t make it to the gas station, was still charged for gas that. WAS NOT in the truck, did not get my deposit back, and now this company is trying to charge me ANOTHER 44.50 after y’all already took my whole $100 deposit for no reason. Horrible company. Crooked as hell.

Doug MI have used your service several times at a few different locations. My favorite is the location in harrisonville Missouri. I recently used the one in Clinton Missouri. They are excellent too. They were prompt and efficient as far as I'm concerned. Thank you for providing this rental service. In the near future, I would be interested in purchasing either an enclosed trailer and possibly a car transport that you all sell after you're done running them out.

Doug MEverything went well until I went to return it... I had a 2x4 by about a foot long and a little piece of steel about 1/4x6x12 in the back and a single slice pizza box, a little milk carton and an empty soda bottle in the cab. I ask the lady that come to drive the truck away if I should remove them. And her response was "not a problem" and then they hit me for a cleanup charge for 25 bucks... Just made me angry, I understand about cleaning it before bringing it back and I even offered to remove them. She was in the truck and taking it away before I even had a chance to remove them... AND I DID ASK.... Like I told them when they hit my card with the charge.... I feel that was nothing more than a money grab from them... And she got all indignant and told me that no one leaves 2x4s in rental cars... . And I replied, "I asked you" and she had no response I also mentioned that often times when renting cars I do leave a bag of fast food trash in them occasionally and never had a problem... I understand about having narrow margins on rental trucks... But I felt taken advantage of when I offered and would have to stop her from driving away before removing those items.... Bottom line is I just felt taken advantage of... I ask for a refund of 25 for cleaning and here again she got indignant and said that would be something I would have to take up with their corporate offices. Once again indifferent to the situation. Some people just hit you as Not Nice especially when you feel they can screw you out of 25 dollars for something they fully intent to keep. And on an issue like this, It just puts you off... As far as what U-Haul itself provided me as far as a vehicle to use was awesome. I will also say I had rented the same size truck prior from another U-Haul provider and everything was great. Unfortunately this supplier is a lot smaller and didn't have the truck I wanted at the time. So the lesson here is BE ADVISED. Where you rent you services is really as important as what you rent.. Sorry for the scathing review but I look at my neighborhood rental service providers as neighbors and friends in this case this is not the case.. I will avoid this facility and opt for the other even if I have to wait for their trucks to become available.. Jim...

Brian PNot sure where the actual breakdown occurred, but I was charged to bring a tank to full when I was given a truck with just under half a tank to begin with and told to return it the same way (which I did.) I have filed a complaint twice and still have no response or resolution.
Aaron BDrop off instructions were confusing as no address was given. Luckily my daughter-in-law had rented and dropped off a U-Haul in the past and knew where to take it. Once we put the keys in the dropbox, we realized we hadn't taken a photo of the gas gauge or mileage.but it was too late. I left a voicemail message and received an emailed receipt. No complaints, the drop-off went smoothly anyway.

ABIGAIL BThere was a bad tire that needed replaced and thankfully I had extra time before my move to have the tire replaced at my residence before leaving. Given the tires condition I would have very possibly experienced trouble on the road. The replacement experience was great.

Steven MFor some reason this location would not show up online as a drop off location. This may have caused us to go 40-50 miles out of our way to drop off the trailer. As it turned out, we drove right passed this location and stopped and checked with them before we drove to Appleton City or Warrensburg.

Nora SThis company has a whole is a complete joke. No one told me the charges would quadruple if I changed the drop off location. I am not paying the additional charges. Thank you for, yet again, being the worst moving company in existence. I will be using a different moving company from now on.
