The transmission seems like it was going out, inspect the engine and transmission on a regular bases to insure the truck is running correctly.

SCAMMERS!! tell u how much gas is in the truck (quarter of tank) brought it back on that and they STILL charge a gas service fee $38 AND $33 for 6 gals $73 trk clean charged $25 clean fee. Also try to blame you for OLD DENTS. I had pics of EVERYTHING!! WILL NEVER RENT HERE AGAIN!!!!

I received a call, December 2nd from U-haul flaming that the vehicle was not on the lot. Only to find out the vehicle was on the lot they never checked nor did the process it in their system. I will not be making reservations at this location again.

U-Haul changed my pick up location. This new location did not have the furniture pads that were promised, or anything else, no boxes or packing materials....it's a pawn shop! You lost on point of sale merchandise, I had to find these materials elsewhere. Because of this I would not even recommend U-Haul. This the second time my location has been changed, which has caused a lot of inconvenience on both occasions.

This location doesn't have regular or appliance dollies available for rent. A dolly is almost mandatory equipment when a person is moving. My move would have been a nightmare if I wasn't able to track down an appliance dolly from somewhere else.

Renting the van was a breeze. The gentleman who helped us out was amazing. He also was asking us about he van and we told him thank you for caring. The other employees were also great with everything. We would go there and rent again.

Service was great, simple, and much appreciated. The auto transport does need some minor repair. The rubber strap for holding the fender up on the driver's side is broken and the fender appears to need a little hammering because it hits when in the up position. The rear holder is the only one working and holding the fender up.

The Equipment wasn't as clean as it should have Been. The Truck Broke Down (wouldn't start back up after shutting off Engine ) had seek help to get a Engine jump from another vehicle. Very Disappointed. I'm seeking some kind refund or Deduction in final Balance.

I was very disappointed in my service with U-haul over all but don't blame this on Cohen brothers Pawn Calumet City because they just picked up the pieces of what was already wrong with my reservation. Actually Cohen Brothers did a wonderful job. U-HAUL as a whole failed me as a customer. I had a reservation for two weeks prior to my move. Then it was changed by U-Haul 2 days before my move. My initial time was set for & 7:00 a.m. Well with this being said it was less the 1 mile from where I originally lived. With my new reservation it took me 5 miles from my location. Which I was not happy about but I did adjust my professional movers for this change. The pick-up time changed to 11:00 a.m. Well since I am proactive I was at the new location that U-Haul planned for me 10 mins before 11:00 so that my move was changed to afternoon evening. Nevertheless at this location the store owners never showed up to open the establishment. I stayed their until until 12:20 calling U-Haul very upset in regards to not being able to obtain the truck. Then please let me continue with the fact that when I called to U-Haul the person on the first call since you record them all was not accommodating in regards to I had 5 professional movers at my house waiting to start working and I'm waiting to get a truck well really that is not their concern its just as if I was not prepared for the move they are still getting paid regardless. Nevertheless U-Haul now move the reservation AGAIN from that location in Harvey, IL now to Calumet City. I hope your still with me on this journey because all of this consist of miles being used. Finally the last employee that I talked to did try to be more compassionate and understand how frustrated this whole charades was for me on this day. I just need U-Haul to understand how disappointed I was and how much money I was out paying people for hours not working because of U-Haul and extra miles being driven. I have used U-Haul for about 35 years and NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER have I had a issue such as this being connected to this kind of Service. Please contact me in regards to this matter with some compensation that would make me feel like I am a valued customer I really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. I reserved at one location(closer to my home) truck was not back from previous customer so I had to driver further away from my house at 8 months pregnant. I then wasn’t coming up in the system at the new location so they had to search. I waited all together 45-50 minutes when I was supposed to have my truck at 9am! Movers had to be paid $140 extra because of uhauls bad customer service. I was not pleased having to pay these guys extra because of uhauls mistake! Will not be using this service EVER AGAIN. I will not recommend
