The location (54 Montauk) actually has no trucks. Going there and then being redirected to their other location in Bridgehampton (where the man took close to 30 minutes to check us in) added a full hour to what was otherwise a 3 hour move. I had 4 men waiting so the cost of the delay was not insignificant. And then they didn't have some of the equipment I had ordered (aggravating because we could have gone to Home Depot the previous night). And then they had to check the truck to make sure it was presentable... so basically - they were completely unprepared. The folks at Colette offered one dollar off per mile as compensation - but we weren't going far so the offer was meaningless. I'm sure they are nice people but it was a 3 out of 10 in terms of an experience
