The location was ok but i had to pay most of the mileage charge just because it was several miles away from home. I was literally only moving less than 1/4 mile away. The assistance/service was great. The only thing I didn't like was the online truck rerurn experience for after hours. After moving stuff and being exhsusted from the entire moving day, the last thing anyone has the energy to do is run around taking pictures of the truck. I felt like we were doing someone else's job because it never used to be that way. Charging $20 if it wasn't done (according to the contract), I felt was unfair. How about instead giving maybe a discount off the bill if it's done? That seems more of an incentive.

Fix the uhaul computer system so it dont take forever...I'm allready in the system and gave my card over the phone...still gotta go thru uhaul computer and bring card??...location and staff was excellent

I'd I appreciate bit employees wore a mask. There are signs that say customers must wear a mask. But not a single employee was. 🤔

There was a problem with this particular vehicle. Driving around town all good but once you get on the highway the heat from the engine comes through to the cab. Even with the air on as high as it would go the cab was almost unbearable to drive. It actually got so hot at one point that my cell phone overheated and shut off. Had to drive through multiple rain storms with the windows down. Truck was clean and worked out great for us but that heat was hard to handle.

I signed a receipt that took out $41.79 from my credit card for a van that was advertised for $19.95 a day! I had that van for 4hrs that day. That night I get an email that added $16.00 more to the bill with no reason, for a total of $57 00 for a $19.95 rental. I wouldn't rent from you again EVER !!!!!

While the truck was clean, it ran VERY rough. Also, I still have not received a confirmation receipt from Uhaul for the amount paid which was less than the original estimate.

Educate the employee about safe equipment. Brakes were terrible and the employee said” drive it around the parking lot and if you think they are ok then we will rent it” this after a previous renter explained the brakes were bad.

The prices are very inflated... Last year I rented a 4x8 trailer and drove from Seattle WA to Brooklyn, NY for less then $400. I'm currently in the middle of a move... from NY to Ohio 1/5th the distance and has costed me over $450 for a 4X8. I need a larger trailer for the final leg of my trip to WA, and it'll cost me over $850 for the size up. My girlfriend and I both lost our jobs due to COVID19 and it's forced us to Leave our apartment in Brooklyn. It's sad that places like Uhaul are profiteering off people suffering from the current pandemic. Our country is at war with with sickness and Uhaul is raking in the profits. I've heard this called “War Profiteering” before. I'll do my best not to use Uhaul in the future. I'll tell people of my experience with how I was in a time of need and places like Uhaul took advantage of that. Our country is suffering, will Uhaul provide affordable moving services? Or profiteer from those suffering?

The inside of the truck smelled, I had to drive with the windows down. Plus the inside had coffee stains In the cup holders. I brought this up to the worker but he didn't care. He didn't even Inspect the outside of the vehicle. I was just told to feel out the app.

I picked up the 5x8 trailer and then picked up some new furniture in the Fredericksburg Ohio area. After returning to Cleveland I opened up the back and discovered that the rain I drove through had gotten sucked into the top of the trailer door, wetting the rented moving pads and part of the furniture. Luckily I caught it in time before any damage to the new furniture. When I returned the trailer to my final destination I was told that the fine print (maybe I should have read it...) clearly spelled out that the trailer is not waterproof. So...,just beware of rainy conditions and cover the contents accordingly.

I truthfully, was surprised at the .99 per mile! I recalled years ago, being able to rent a truck like this ( local) for $19.99) And I was led to believe that IF I had it back same day, it would be cheaper, so we busted our butts to do so. I spent $66 more than I planned to do somebody in the family a huge favor ar my expense. But it had to get done. Next time, will be much more careful about the miles.
