The truck was disgusting and very very dirty dosen't look like it's been cleaned or wiped out in months, the truck itself drove poorly as if the transmission or engine was about to fall out. The tires were completely bald. The man stopped assisting me during check out so he could ring up other customers. This is not a positive reflection for uhal. I have used uhal many times in the past for all my moves. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone.
Valarie BroganToo many junk fees that was NOT disclose at the time of reservation. Safe move coverage was charged but not requested or needed. Got charge for a dolly and pads that was not requested and worst of all, it was NOT included in the Uhaul when I picked it up. Regardless, I was charge for those items also. It wasn’t even in the Uhaul but was charge nevertheless.
Hung NguyenI returned the uhaul at 3pm, 2 hours before the time I had paid for, and was charged for it being returned at 6am the next day. They didn’t have the blankets that I ordered, they didn’t know how to check me in when I first showed up, they didn’t check to see if the gas was full before giving it to me. And the right side mirror was very broken/shattered.
Chris TruehlThis was the worst place to pick up a truck ever!! The guy wasn’t there when I got there. The truck was filthy on the inside after further investigation ( milk jugs, a layer of filth and papers on the floor in back), no regular dolly as I reserved, no furniture pads as I reserved, and they would not even help me lift the heavy appliance dolly that they gave me instead into the truck.
DEBBIE CARSONOverall, everything went well. But it is very disturbing to return a vehicle and not get some kind of receipt right then. And I would have liked to be there for the inspection. It turned out well this time, but it caused unnecessary anxiety. Uhaul locations should be more transparent with billing and the overall procedure. I would have preferred to sign and see any agreements before they handed me the keys. I just saw them now - several hours after I already had returned the van. Overall, not my best Uhaul experience. I probably will not go back to this location unless I have no other choice.
Christina DeebBlankets that I ordered and paid for were not available nor the cost returned to my credit card. The return was a joke. The employee would not check the truck in and provide a receipt. He said I would get a receipt later that evening, but I still have not got one a day later.

ANTHONY BRUHLI think you should tell people it is on a liquor store. Also they were not open at my reservation time and I put gas in the vehicle and they charged me for gas. I would like a refund for my gas money

LANE LEEI ordered a dolly and heavy furniture dolly and they had neither despite it being scheduled well in advance so had to move with no help from those tools. What's the point of giving us the option to order them if you're going to give them away? Terrible

KALEB SHULTZThe initial U-Haul agent I spoke with made my life a living hell. Though I understand this location was a gas station, the agent rushed through my reservation without listening to a single request I made. He did not update my reservation to the day I requested. And he thought it was okay to give me a dirty van with NONE of the items I requested (appliance dolly, furniture dolly, furniture pads). When I asked to be changed to the van with a dolly in it. He walked outside, removed the dolly from that van, then told me he could not modify my reservation. The only saving grace here was Bryan and a young lady (forgive me for not getting her name) stepping into help. Bryan helped move me to a van I was comfortable with while the young lady relayed all the details over the phone. They were professional and were very much trying to make the situation better. But even still, the man onsite tried his best to make things difficult. He refused to let Bryan take over, despite telling me he could no longer help me. He refused to hand over the keys to the other van until he finished what he was doing. 15 mins later I was finally moved to a new van, but yet again the man onsite had to show us all what poor customer service looked like. He refused to give me the dolly that was originally in the van. He recommended I go to another store and rent the equipment from them. This led to me going from U-Haul to uhaul to be told they couldn't rent out equipment without me renting a vehicle directly from them. All while being charged for miles!!! Finally, the location I set up my storage unit with helped and offered a furniture dolly. It was not enough but it was not there fault to begin with. I shouldn't have to go from U-Haul location to location to begin with. 2 trips became 10, all because one person needed to have it his way. And ironically, it wasnt the customer. I have never wished ill will on any other human before. But that man should be fired before he causes another customer issues.
Jerelle CavittI should have been notified the night before I'd blankets and a dolly would not be available, not the morning of pick up. This is the first time this has happened and was a huge inconvenience.

If the person that answered the phone at the pick-up site, that I talked to the day before I needed the rental. Hadn't assured me that someone would be at the pick-up location to take care of the paper work. I would have canceled my reservation. Thank you for good people.!

Esther PerezVehicle was very dirty, inside and out. It appeared the previous renter used it during a snowy period, the outside of the vehicle needed washing very badly, the windshield was difficult to see through and there was no washer fluid in the vehicle.

Kathleen ZalinskyI was quite annoyed that your company decided to just change my location without any reason as to why and when I call, the rude customer service lady says, "it's only 6 miles away and if you want a truck thay runs, then youll just have to go there" I chose the location because it's within walking distance from my house and if it's only 6 miles, then why can't someone drive the truck to the location I selected? And that's another 12 miles of driving that you guys expect me to just pay for without thinking it's a big deal?? When I expressed to the again, rude customer service lady that I don't have a car, so I have no way to get the the other location, she said, "fine, I'll change it". Then we get to the location to pick it up and the lady working there says, oh did you have equipment, I said, yes we added a dolly, so says well another customer asked for it, so we gave it to them... She was very nice, but what is the point of reserving things if they aren't saved for you? They can take a reservation, but can't hold the reservation??

Susan BrownThe service was horrid. This is a basically a gas station/convenience store which offers U-Haul rental equipment. The clerk who assisted me was more interested in selling gum and gas than helping me. I was basically an inconvenience to him! I was not assisted in getting, locating, or attaching the trailer to my truck, nor was I given any instruction as to the operation of the trailer (it was an auto transport trailer). If seriously thought about cancelling my rental. I will never use this location again! Additionally, I've now asked twice for a U-Haul customer representative to contact me regarding the pick-up location and my experience. Nobody has called me back.

They confirmed but it was a lie and didn’t find out until I went to go pick up my truck and wasn’t able to. Scheduled a 730 phone pick up, had to wait till they opened at 8 the same time I had scheduled movers to meet us… they didn’t have our blankets and pads in the truck like I paid for. Very unhappy.

Carrie ReedOn the drop off, I dropped the trailer off as agreed on a Saturday and the at the same location I picked it up at. Today I received a receipt for a charge over $1,600.00. My contract was for $72.08. I returned to the location and he is working on it. I left a message to be called back from the number on the receipt. The receipt list a location in Colorado as drop off site. This is not correct. I have rented from UHAUL many times before but if I am not able to get this error fixed I will NEVER rent from you again and will strongly discourage any of my friends from doing the same. I don't know where the error was made but customer service not poor when there is a problem.

JENNIFER LUTZDon't send them to Parker CO when they set pickup in Lakewood lol I drove past the location I originally chose on the way home and saw 4-5 trailers of the size I rented. Couldn't believe I had to drive 45 minutes to get the same trailer. For the person reading this, sorry you have to read my bitching, but it's amazing to how poor Uhaul's logistics are right now.
colin harperTruck better maintained. It vapor locked on way to drop off which causes late return. On line checking was a nightmare, and were repeatedly bumped off the site when trying to upload pictures as requested. Phone no help as was over 40 minute wait. We got the truck with well less than half a tank which is ridiculous. I tried to clarify contract status at Parker location we rented at and multiple emails went unanswered. No doubt you save money by not having real people deal with customers but with me and doubtless many others you make it a negative experience and have left me with a bad attitude towards your company
John Franks1) I was given wrong keys to the wrong truck and I had to walk all over the gas station lot to find the truck. 2) There wasn't a clear order to the order of the truck. 3) it delayed my pickup process by 45min because I sent to the truck then found out the mileage was wrong then had to go back inside then the personnel had to walk with me all across the lot to go look for the uhaul
julie shimPut a sign up letting the customers know which area to go to for uhual rental. Workers are rude, except for one older guy working with the liquor. Returning was easy but again rude workers.

Showed up reserved location and told that Uhaul moved my pick up location even though website stated different. Lack of communication and customer service. Missing dolly. First rental had flat tire. Both rentals covered with mud/dirty/ spilled sticky drinks on seat and ground. Didn’t drive away in rental van until 1.5 hours after getting there. Will not use or recommend Uhaul.
