Everything was exactly as promised. Really like the aux jack in the radio - made the trip much nicer. Averaged 8 mph over 1400 miles, crossed two mountain ranges. Estimate my savings as compared to using a moving company at $4500 - U-Haul rocks!Scott F.

The trailer seemed fine until I loaded the vehicle, then everything went wrong and dangerous. After loading the vehicle, the trailer began to violently fishtail on the freeway. I attempted to visit the nearest Uhaul rental location because the one I rented from was 30 miles away, but only found some trailers in a run down motel parking lot in Pasco (no staff or support). I finally made it to Kennewick, WA and after speaking with a customer service rep for 30 min trying to analyze the problem and not have to pay to send an onsite technician, Uhaul finally agreed to send a technician. He immediately identified that ALL FOUR WHEELS on the trailer were bad (2 rims were bent and 2 tires had flat spots). He replaced all four wheels and the trailer worked fine, but set my schedule back by 4 hours. I had an appointment in Seattle at 4:30 pm and I did not get back until 9pm because of this debacleAndrew C.
As the location was closed on Sunday we had to call in to drop it off. I was very lucky to find barely enough room to park a 26 foot truck with a car trailer without impeding traffic. The truck ran great , except.... In addition to going only 4o MPH up a low mountain pass it also burned an unholy amount of gasoline. Don't believe the U-haul mileage claims. Simply a case of the wrong type of engine for the application. When I asked the representative if they had ever heard of a diesel engine the reply was the gas motor was better for the environment. BULL! The truth is the diesels are more expensive to maintain, so they could care less how much gas the truck uses as they don't have to pay the gas bill.Pauline G.

I got a 15' box truck and did not make it 3 miles away from the U-haul dealer only to find out the entire steering system was about to fail, not only that but the customer service associates have got to be the single most worthless group of humans on the entire face of this planet. I can safely say I will never again use this company and I will tell anyone I can to avoid doing business with this poorly ran company.jason W.

I would like to take you up on your $50 Reservation guarantee. I reserved at the Maple Valley Chevron, 4 miles from my house but had to pick up in Auburn, 20 miles from my house. I went to return the truck back and this location was closed, so I took it back to another location on Pelandale & McHenry in Modesto and they refused to except the vehical and told me if I leave it there I would be charged double! They told me to keep the vehical another day and return it tomorrow to Salida, so I went back home with the truck and when I drove back to Salida they were just opening at noon! I had to talk to the district manager to return it! He was very helpful! I believe the district manager was named Phil and he took care of the return on the phone! With the man who excepted the keys named Mike! I did have to pay the extra mileage from the 2 return spots, which was approximatly 14 miles! Otherwise all in all the usage of the vehical was great!
