This gas station should not be allowed to accept uhauls. Told me he didn't want to take the truck even though it was in my contract. He said it's my problem and to leave him alone. Called his boss who told him he has to take the truck because it's in my contract. His boss didn't know he was on speaker phone and called me â€œstupidâ€.Warren K.

This was not the location we had chosen for our pick up. I'm not sure how our location was changed to this facility but I'm not happy that it was. The dolly we reserved was not available. The personal checking us out did not seem comfortable or overly familiar with the process.David S.
Attendant seemed to be confused and was waiting for a phone call from Uhaul concerning a possible problem with the 15 foot rental truck. My 10:30am pick-up resulted in 11:00am pick-up. Also a customer phone rep advised I needed the 15 footer truck but after loading my boxes they would have fit easily in the 10 footer which was less money.John W.

Could not pick up reservation because person working did not know how to process reservation. Size of truck was not what we reserved. Never received dollies or furniture pads. Was still charged for them. 2 hour delay before we could get the truck. This was a huge problem as we were racing a 3 ft of snow storm coming in. When I arrived to pick up the truck, a beverage vendor was there and had just dumped a whole dolly of drinks in front of the door and out in the driveway. I asked the store clerk if he could get me checked out on the truck and he said â€œnoâ€, I had to wait until he took care of the beverage delivery. The vendor proceeded to restock his dolly and the dump the whole load again, again spilling bottles of pop and other drinks all over the entrance and driveway. I again asked the clerk to check me out so that I could get going, and he told me if I was in a hurry that I should go get another truck somewhere else! Terrible customer service! Terrible attitude! There are no other U-haul rental locations in Evergreen! It was almost 9:15 before I was able to complete the process and drive off. I had the truck reserved for 8:30. The cargo bay of the truck was dirty. I returned the truck about 4:00 that same day. I just got my invoice via email and I have been double charged for 2 days of rental, not 1. I was also overcharged for fuel. I drive right at 25 miles. At $.79 per mile, my fuel bill should have been right at $20.00, not the $32.00 that showed up on the invoice. Now I need to go hassle with that gas station attendant to get an adjustment to my bill, which is yet another negative review comment.Alan L.

Took us 1 and 1/2 hours to get out with the truck because the attendant could not work the system. Links to the system didn't work for us either due to expiring after all the time things took. Unable to complete the checkout evaluation. Truck was dirty inside and out. With starting fuel readings incorrect. Had to drive an extra 100 miles for an auto carrier that was $200.00 more than originally qouted, attendants there were equally clueles l, so I ended up not taking it. Complete waste of my time and miles. Flying back to Colorado get my car and drive to Oregon separately to save money and headache. Called customer service but they were not much help. :(Matthew K.

My Uhaul experience was horrible made my entire move extremely stressful. Changing the location of my pick up 4 times up to the day before I was to pick my truck up. Wanting me to travel over an hour for a truck I was originally supposed to pick up blocks away them calling and telling me they'd have a different truck in a different day that totally didn't work for my move. After I returned the truck a day early receiving 2 calls telling me I was late in returning my truck. When I returned the truck the man didn't know what to do with the truck. The entire process was horrendous would never ever want to rent or recommend uhaul as a company. Total JOKE!!! Don't waste your time energy or money.Corinne B.

I called for a 10 foot U-Haul truck and was told that the price was $19.95 per day and to come down to the store. I was there in about four minutes (I live very close). I noticed upon arriving that there were several trucks of various sizes on the property, including a 10 foot truck. I went into the store and told the clerk that I had just called and I was there to rent a 10 foot truck. Communication was a bit of a problem as the person had difficulty with speaking (and apparently understanding) English. When all the paper work was printed, I noticed that the charge was much higher than he quoted and that it was for a 20 foot truck. I told the person that I wanted a 10 foot truck and not a 20 foot truck. He said, "You want this truck?" I said no. I did not sign the paperwork for the truck that he held out towards me, and I left. When a charge from U-Haul was applied to my credit card, I called my credit card company and they made notes of what had happened. I also called U-Haul to speak to a district/regional manager. He said the 10 foot truck was already reserved and that the charge would be dropped. He also agreed that there was a bit of a language problem when he called the U-Haul location to try to resolve the problem. Several weeks later, I got a another charge from the same U-Haul on my credit card. The charge is currently in dispute, my current card is cancelled, and I have to wait until my new card arrives. While this location is very convenient, I would not recommend renting a U-Haul from here. Yes, I had read the reviews and there were a few bad ones spaced over time. I have generally had good experiences with U-Haul, but this will make me look elsewhere in the future.Kyle G.

Could fully check in on line. Truck was dirty, mud on the floor of the cab and not Swept out. Furniture pads were not folded or packaged in a bag like other locations. Pads were in a pile and the agent counted out 12. I have used uhaul in the past. This is worst location I have had to deal with.Bruce M.

Only rent if you have to from Evergreen U-Haul. Terrible, time consuming experience/ Cab was filthy. First location said they would be there until 5pm, but went hunting so we had to go to a nearby, who's printer ink was out and couldn't get a copy of the contract. The renter person didn't know how to rent out and had to keep calling for information. Then when a change had to be made I had to call u-hual corp. on the phone to arrange the change. The website and on-line presence needs much improvement. For a nationwide corp., you should get your act together, however people that we talked to on the phone were pleasant and helpful.Jerard D.

Booked a truck at the Bailey location and received an email confirmation. Day of, opened the website and noticed my truck was now another half hour from my houses at the evergreen location . Uhaul computers were down causing another hour delay on top of the 1.5 hour drive each way just to pick up and drop off the truck. A very frustrating day and I was told I'd get a discount when I was at the bailey location but computers continued to not work at the evergreen location and that discount didn't appear on the bill.Dennis L.

Mileage used was incorrectly recorded and I was overcharged for the rental. Additionally, I returned the van 1 1/2 hours early and with more gasoline in the tank than when I picked it up! I have had excellent experience w/ UHaul rentals until this most recent one and hope to have my claim #1784510 resolved quickly.Lori F.
I had to wait for 25 minutes before the process could start as the proprietor was off site. The truck was dirty inside and outside. The right rear tire was under inflated despite there being a tire air dispenser on site (at this gas/service station). The on-site attendant was, however, eager to help resolve the issues caused by the proprietor's absence.stephen S.

I would only recommend this location for the convenience. Employee at this location had no idea how to rent the Van to us (had to call owner), the Van was very dirty (and there was a car wash at this location). It all worked out in the end but the process of renting and turning it back in was not smooth.Gail and Tom D.
