First employee that helped us when we picked up the U-Haul was kind. Unfortunately, my boyfriend’s parents returned to this same location a few hours later to purchase moving supplies and a thin/tall white male worker was rude to them when they asked about moving supplies. They asked this same man for a dolly and he lied and said there wasn’t one available. Pathetic. Luckily, another worker gladly let them borrow one. Won’t be returning to this location again. Employees at this location are unwelcoming and lack customer service skills. Won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

RANDY KEPLEYI had a reservation for a truck, but u-haul called and said the equipment I wanted would not be available. I ended up with a van instead and u-haul offered a $50 rebate. I don’t believe $50 is a big enough rebate given the circumstances. But, the service at Craftwood Lumber was excellent.

KENNETH HUDSONThe self check in is kind of a pain, but I was OK doing it given the 24/7 access. But after doing all of it, I still had to go inside to the counter and wait to get the keys. Kind of made me wonder why I went though it all if I was going to have to check in in person anyway.
STEVEN BICKFORDYour online system sucks. I had to go in the store, because you needed two forms of ID. My license and photo were not enough. Fortunately the store was still open and they were super helpful. Maybe give people a warning that you might need their passport as well as their license, or the number of their freaking employer!! When I checked back in, AGAIN, your system did not work. Despite my picture being almost IDENTICAL to your sample, it would not upload. You have work to do with that.

DAVE POUKEYThe storage area of the vehicle had seeds of some sort, a sticky residue on the floor, and an odor. I noted that in the checkout process and tried to say the vehicle was not ready for the next customer in the return process, but I ended up changing that to “yes” it was ready because checking “no” would have incurred a cleaning fee for which I didn’t believe I was responsible.

JOE COMATYI called in advance to reserve a van--not a truck, a van--and when I got there, Craftwood told me that no vans were available. This is after being told three times that a van would be ready for me to pick up. It caused an enormous inconvenience to me and others.

BOB CRIMOAfter trying to connect via phone to uhaul...I waited for about 10 minutes on hold. After getting disgusted with that process, I went inside to Craftwood and they were very good. I should have done that in the begining.

I rented a van for the sole purpose of picking up a solid wood armoire that didn't fit in the van. Had I known, I would have rented a 10' moving truck. Now I have to rent another uhaul and go back, it was a waste of time
