It was frustrating to find a place to leave the trailer. Tight spots. Luckily our driver could fit the trailer into a tight spot. Could be a challenge for many people.

Richard LThe agent asserted that twisting break-away chains to shorten them (to avoid dragging) was legal. Having had a CDL and driven commercial vehicles with trailers for decades I have had many refresher classes where the Colorado State Patrol will assert that this is not legal. If anybody really gives a shit.

Stephen KThe people that work there are very good. the policies of the company are lacking. When an appointment is made weeks in advance and 2 days before the reservation I get a text saying the equipment is at West Colfax (4 hours away) is a bit unbelievable. The folks at this location worked hard trying to find something closer. Expecting customers to drive 2.5hrs in one direction to pick up uhaul's equipment so I can pay them rent strikes me questionable at best.

ROBERT LOne lady was super friendly. One was kind of mean. We dealt with the nice lady. We had broken down while hunting in the middle of the woods without cell service. I had to make an emergency call just to get help. Once my pickup was at the shop, the sheriff investigator was nice enough to give us a ride to the uhal store so we could rent a truck and break camp. We needed to pack up our camp and tow our atv back to Colorado springs. I explained what we had to do, and she assured us that we had plenty of miles. I was shocked at how expensive a 1 way trip in the same state was. The part that really made me mad was when I got through all that, and I turn in the truck, I get charged for 53 extra miles. The nice lady assured us we had enough miles to get our gear, and get home. I live less than a mile from the store I turned the uhal in at. We took no detours or extra travel. I'd like my $50 back, please. I don't think it's fair that I was misled and overcharged. It was one of the most stressful things I have had to go through, and I feel taken advantage of.

MARGERY CThis location is top notch; however U-Haul as a company is worse every time I deal with them. Stop making renting a vehicle so painfully difficult. Educate your corporate employees to help your locations. If there was another company that provided moving equipment I bet U-Haul would lose business. I dread the next time having to deal with U-Haul.

Franklin HThese trailers have ridiculously long tongues and no built on jack! I had to drive an extra 2-hours just to retrieve it, despite reserving it over a week in advance! Steamboat has 3 locations and I saw at least 2 trailers appropriately sized when I drove past, AFTER driving all the way to Craig - a HUGE waste of time and gasoline! Then, when I did return it after 2-day rental, AND had to drop it using my own jack, that I had to dig out from under all the items I was moving, the dealer in Paonia, Farnsworth, had the audacity to charge me for an extra day?! I’ve had other more positive experiences with Uhaul, but this was definitely not one of them! And, I’m still waiting for a call from your customer service to tell me when you will refund the charges for the extra day?! Overall rating: Atrocious!
Antonio MI booked my pick up in Steamboat Springs. When I arrived I was told no record of a reservation. They helped me find where my pick up was but I didn’t get any notice from the website. Extremely dissatisfied with UHAUL CORPORATE. Added almost 2 hours to my trip.
David FReserved a 5x8 trailer a week ahead to time. Location of pickup was changed 3 times, the last time 20 minutes before picking up and had to backtrack to location, Upon getting to location, they did NOT have a 5x8 trailer, and there were none available anywhere within 100 miles. Then tried to charge me the same price for the 4x8 I had to take as the 5x8 they did NOT have

TEARINY NLaura the lady that assisted me was rude as I was asking questions she would say I don’t have time for this I need to pick up my child. Her computer was running slowing so she kept huffing and rolling her eyes at me. I would not recommend this location unless you like rude people
