Sydney LehrThe only issue this vehicle had was cigarette burns in the console. The bag in the rear compartment was empty, and I presume that was for furniture covers. I really appreciate the ease of obtaining the vehicle and it was clean, and ready for pickup.

They pointed to a spot for me to back the trailer in, then went back inside, didn't help at all guiding me or disconnecting the trailer. The outside of the building was decent, but the inside was a hot, smelly pigsty. Someone should check it out & make some changes. I'll never deal there again.

Geofrey PejsaThe customer service at pick up in Maryland was poor. The representative has earbuds in and was talking in a foreign language while he was checking us out it made us feel real uncomfortable he only spoke English when he was addressing us, we did not even know what was going on untill we saw the earbuds in his ears. As a foreigner myself I find it completely disrespectful to not just hold a conversation during a check out but to speak in my native language when i am the only one understanding it. The trailer was not swept out and had trash in it, it was definitely not ready for pick-up. All in all if we would have walked away from this location if we could have gotten a trailer somewhere else that day.

Dave BlancettI waited in the parking lot for almost a half hour for Uhaul to call my reference contact person. The people at the Sunoco were wonderful, but if uhaul is going to insist on calling a reference, then they need to have it done in 5 minutes or less. This was ridiculous.

drake willisWhen I picked up the covered trailer, the paperwork shows that I rented the trailer at 4:32. After waiting for the clerk to wait on 3 other customers which I didn’t have an issue with until I got charged an extra day, I left the parking lot at 4:51. I brought the trailer back 15 minutes late, and the clerk came out, waited for me to move out of the way, and took a picture of the trailer. I asked him if I needed to do anything else, he said no so I drove off. When I got the receipt mailed to me there was an extra day added to the bill. Maybe I’ll go to Penske next time.

nemanja paunicLong story short they gave me the wrong truck. I put in a reservation for a truck one way to Atlanta. When I arrived the next day they couldn't find my reservation and without me knowing made a new one. Which was incorrect, for a local truck. After driving almost 5 hours with an apartment's worth of furniture and belongings the guy calls me and demands I bring the truck back. Or else I would have to pay wrongful drop off charges. I talk to customer service and they say it'll run me $1600 plus the original trip, mileage, gas ect. The guy who gave me the truck gives me his word that if I return the truck and get a new one the first will be free. He did not. I got charged almost 1000 for the next truck plus 400 for the first one. I only got $150 dollar credit for mileage on the first truck. I talked to some higher up guy at uhaul and he basically said I should be grateful for the $150 dollar credit and at least I didn't pay MORE with all the fee's. What a joke. Also they barely spoke english, so the moral of the story is, read the contract, but more importantly, just go to penske.

They called me the next day and said I needed to return the trailer when I returned it that night that I got it and went inside and asked them if they needed to come out and look at it they said no I was good to go ahead and park it so I did then I left. I will never go back to that location and I will never recommend them to anybody

William HartigI reserved a 20' truck and when I got to the location they only had 15'. The original pick up location was changed to a location 15 miles further than the original. I received no paperwork,just the price and the keys. I did not select safe move of $45 but it was added to my bill anyway.

Robert RubilottaI made a reservation over a week in advance and when I got there to pick up the van, they told me that they did not have it and I had to rent another truck. I then was told I could rent a 10 foot at same price. When I tried to rent the 10 foot(less than five minutes from when the guy told me I could rent one) he said they had none available and I had to rent a 15 foot at the cost of the 15 foot. They did nothing to compensate me for not having the van. If anyone asks me if they should rent from this place I would say NO!!!!! Reservations do not mean anything at this location.
Joseph LibertoNot the locations fault however, my rental and the need had to be cut short because of an issue with the rear, drivers side hub. This is clearly overheating, there is a tremendous amount of grime/grease around the wheel, paint flaked off hub, wheel starting to rust (indicative of an issue that has been going on for a while). I felt uncomfortable continuing to use the truck. Also, I verified that my insurance would cover me and advised location but the $45 charge was still applied. I'm hoping it gets reversed.
