The employee did not want to help, he did not assist with the process at all, gave wrong directions on where to park the dolly and the wanted me to move it for him after been unloaded (that’s why we are paying for) I’m not doing his job. He had an bad attitude the whole time and calling me “KID” when I could be older than him. WORST Customer service ever, I will never be back here.

I had a bad experience the last time I rented from this location but I give second chances to a company/location to fix the problem and I'm glad I did. From start to finish, my experience this time was easy and pleasant. The agent was extremely helpful and courteous.

Make sure you have the truck size I reserve available. Also, keep heroin needles, torch lighters, and trash outside of the vehicle.

Maybe in the future the agent could be a little more helpful. We had a situation where right after we completed renting the equipment, the individual I was picking up items with the truck cancelled. I hadn't even left the store and asked to cancel the rental. I was told it was too much work and he proceeded to charge me for the rental, tax, and a portion of mileage (truck never left the lot). I went home and called the 800 number who was happy to process the cancellation and refund of my money to me and treated me like someone who cared.

The guy left me standing there and was mad at me because the key tag was received to me broken when I got the key. Then made me back up and park the car hauler myself in the tightest space possible while he sat on his phone and would t help me while back it up.

Waiting a hour to get my uhaul. I had already expressed check in. The man at the store was not helpful. The U-Haul I drove smelled like pee. He had told me I could drop off near my house but never said it was going to cost $97 dollars plus the mileage. I was really disappointed with my service. I feel like I waisted $96 dollars for two hours! When we asked if he could at least give a military discount for the inconvenience of waiting a hour! and the U-Haul costumer service rep on the phone he was talking to said it was all up to him. He then says no absolutely not! Nothing in his store worked. The card machine was down all the gas pumps were out, I would NEVER go back to U-Haul or recommend U-Haul to anyone. So disappointed

I rented a tow car dolly from this location. When I input my information in your online tool with my 2004 Ford F150 to pull a 2009 Honda odyssey it said it was fine and mentioned the four locations to pick it up .... when I went to this location after inputting all our data it kept giving read words to his screen, we kept trying to change the information to figure out what was wrong and finally just change it to a Honda Civic to get it to go through ... I took the car dolly out to my friends to load up their Honda Odyssey and noticed that it seemed slightly wide but it could still fit on the dolly, when we attempted to do it it ripped off the whole front bumper and hit the metal bottom frame and it would not go up.... when I return the dolly after wasting three hours of my time, the owner of the facility said there’s nothing I can do you approve the change in the vehicle. He knew what I was towing but yet did not care. My recommendation for your tool that the owners use is to tell them why the red words are showing up for a vehicle, such as vehicle is too wide ....

When I went to pick up my truck at the first designated location it wasn’t there. I didn’t receive any communication letting me know that I needed to go to an alternate location and the gentleman offered no help except saying to call U-haul. After calling in and being out on hold for over 5 minutes, because no one could find my reservation I was finally told to drive to another location to get my truck. This is the second time I’ve had issues with truck reservations and no one working to make it right. You claim to have a guarantee or you will give us $50 but if we don’t know that you sure aren’t offering it immediately.

I could not understand the guy the truck was filthy he didn't even explain to us how to put the car up on the tow dolly when we hooked up the total dollar to the back of the U-Haul all I had to do is since a turning signal work on the left side and hit the brake and inside the truck was Dusty as hell

I had no clue how to hook the trailer up, nor did I know how to get the car on the auto transport. When I asked for help with both of those, he acted like he did not understand English. When I repeated it (multiple times) and went out of my way to get his attention, he then chuckled and said he would not help. This location is a convenience store, and he would stop and check people out often, so the reservation took a long time to complete for me.

I never got in the truck or left the lot. I texted the shop and told them I was headed their way for pick up. They said it wasn't ready. I went back inside to cancel and was told to contact corporate for a refund. I called and there was a 15 minute wait. So I tried the chat feature and no one showed up for 20 minutes. I will be calling corporate again tomorrow.

Lone individual working was a total lazy ass. Backed trailer into spot in front of front door with other trailers. Detached trailer from truck and went inside. Individual was at counter with a full view of me placing trailer into spot. Checked trailer in and paid remaining balance. Went to leave and individual told me I need to move trailer to another spot. Informed him it's already detached from truck. He told me I'd need to physically move it. I informed it's too heavy for 1 person to move, but that I would assist him in moving trailer. He started whining and complaining that I must move it not him. Informed this lazy ass that I was offering to help him, and because of his attitude he can do it himself now. Got in truck and left. It's been awhile since I have run into such a lazy ass, but I sure did today. Unfortunate that he is representing your company. Will never refer anyone to that location.

Had an issue with reservation dates and type of rental. My reservation was a one way rental from 22 June - 30 June. Then a day prior to pick up, received an email showing one day in town rental. Called the 1-800 and Arnice helped me to correct my reservation after attempting to make changes online. The website was not easy to navigate - could not find “modify reservations” anywhere; ended up calling 1-800 number. I’ll be glad to discuss further on the phone. Feel free to call 478-919-8972.

The employee was inconsiderate and rude upon delivery. This equipment is heavy and requires two people to lift and drop. My wife went to return it and asked the employee for help to back it up and download it. His response was that it was her problem.

I reserved a 26' truck, furniture pads, and utility dolly months ahead. But when I got there on the day of pickup, there is no utility dolly available! And I was told to pick it up in Fort Walton Beach! But I need it to pack my stuff in Crestview! It is truly unacceptable. And the owner is rude! I had to run around town to find a dolly! Such a bad experience. Wasted my time and money!

The entire thing just seemed unorganized, I've rented from U-haul before, but this location has one guy working the gas station and the u-haul services. So its always a long wait, and he has a thick accent (which is no big deal) but when you misunderstand him he gets irritated and just repeats himself instead of attempting to explain better. Also my truck was already dirty in the cab when I picked it up (I documented it to be sure I wouldn't be charged any cleaning fees)

For starters I Couldnt understand the gentleman at the gas station location. Then when I got home I notice the straps were worn and beginning to tear. Witch is extremely unsafe.

Pick-up time was wrong (2 hrs later than requested---size of truck requested was not available (wound up with 15 ft instead of 26 ft which resulted in me making two trips to move instead of one trip)----windshield was cracked. Couldn't understand representatives because they didn't speak very good English!!!!!!!!!!

There were two trucks available when I reserved. I told the clerk I wanted the bigger of the two trucks. He reserved the smaller of the two trucks. The truck had not been swept out, the passenger door does close completely without slamming. It was difficult to understand the language of the clerk.

I think they did great. For this visit I honestly can't add anything. They were pleasant, effective, executed very well and for us on the road. As well when we returned, it was seamless. We were in, did our walk, got our paperwork and back out. Can't ask for more than that. They did their job, but made our time a priority rather than have us stand around getting to it when they were ready like other locations. We will use this one in the future.

I was at the location over an hour to rent a car trailer. After the original information was inputted it would not go through. He finally switched the vehicle being towed to the one doing the toeing. I drove over an hour to pick up the vehicle and found that it would not even fit on the trailer. After driving back over an hour the rental office was closed. So I have spent over three hours of my time $20.00 dollars in tolls plus the cost of the trailer all for nothing. For a company in the business of renting trailers this U-Haul dealer fraudulently by switching the tow vehicle, not to mention the safety issues could be looking at legal action. I hope this is read by someone that has the authority to address this issue. Russell Mullins

The owner that was helping me was okay but he was kinda treating his employee a little like he didn't know anything. It was the employee's first day but still. The employee left that same day it was his first day on the job.

The Crestview U-haul staff was horrible - they tried to hook up damaged equipment, would not pay attention to me, I had to yell "stop" to the staff to point out the damaged wiring - when he finally found an undamaged trailer, he did not know how to connect the safety chains, just sat and stared at my hitch like he had never seen one before, so i had to show him and connect one side myself, and then he did not offer to check the brakes and turn signals. I opened the trailer doors, and had to empty 2 bedrails that someone had left behind. 500 yards down the road, i had to pull over and tighten the coupler down because the trailer was bouncing on the ball (i got 3-4 full turns on the tensioner). I recommend shutting this place down before their neglect causes an accident. I'm trying to refrain from making subjective comments, but this was easily the worst experience I have had with a business in many, many years.

Attendant attempted to overcharge me on fuel...Truck was returned with more gas in it than when I picked it up. Additionally, attendant attempted to charge me for 4 days of a dolly use when I only used it 2 days. All in all, I was over charged approximately $100 until I pointed out the discrepancies.

Vehicle had preexisting damage noted during the walk around by the u-haul representative, but he did not have any of the marking tabs. Everything went fine and u-haul accepted that there was preexisting damage and did not charge me. But, preexisting damage should always be on a signed form before the renter shows up.
