We dropped our 20ft van off at this location the night before the 9am drop off due the next morning. So AHEAD of time. But we were billed an extra $20 from this specific location for the drop-off being after hours. That's crazy. It was in perfect condition with no issues. Not cool.

Pick up and drop off were excellent. However I dropped off on Sunday and called uhaul to confirm and check about the refund that I was to be issued. They told me I would have to return to the place I dropped off to get the refund. After driving well out of my way to go back there I was then informed a cheque was issued and I would receive in 1 or 2 weeks. That sucks since I paid cash and needed that cash back and also wasted my time and gas to drive back there.

Truck had not been swept out. Packing blankets were threw in pile unfolded. Agent tried to tell me it was cheaper to return to pick up location than one way rental. Also wanted to charge me mileage for trip . no included miles. I contacted u-haul and made reservation over the phone. One way rental with included mileage.which ended up about 60.00 less that the location agent was trying to charge me.

It was very inconvenient for me i tried to rent one in Kingston but had to drive 40 min out of my way to get one but was good to be able to drop it in Kingston at no cost

I had a horrible experience with Uhaul during my move on June 1st. I had reserved a small van in granville ferry for pickup on the 31st. When I arrived at the Granville ferry office they had cancelled my reservation because they had written my phone number down wrong and couldn’t get a hold of me (even though I had dropped by in person earlier that week to make sure everything was in order). They then sent me to the uhaul in Digby, a 30 minute drive away, but when I arrived the vehicle was much bigger than expected and the battery in the van was dead so I couldn’t take it. There was no one there to deal with as the office was closed. I called uhaul and they booked a van for the next day in Kingston, but I would have to drive an hour to get it rather than the 5 minutes originally planned. The Kingston dealer was excellent, but now I’m being charged for having the van for 3days instead of 4hours. I am extremely disgusted with how poorly organized this business is and feel as though I should not be paying anything for the service I received, let alone 5 times the amount I was originally quoted. I have an email out to deal with this issue, but have not heard back as of yet.

Ensure that third party staff members conducting transactions on behalf of uHaul are actually competent and knowledgeable about uHaul procedures. Maintain accurate communication with customers so that prices remain as quoted. Ensure that vehicles available for rental are actually in good working order.

Had a difficult time finding exactly where to drop off key as there was u hauls located in a different area then the drop off box. Had to ask around as to where the actual ifffice was located. Also had to drive 25 minutes out of my way on my own mileage to drop off. This seems unacceptable to me and u haul thought that was ok...a $7 owing turns out to be about $25 because of those extra km

Dealer oversold me on a larger trailer. Really damaged the brakes on my car. Upselking for greater profit imho.

When a rental is booked for a 5 hour drive have the gas tank full. Had to drive 2 hours to get it and it had half a tank. I burned through that before I even got home to load it and get on the road. The gasing procedure was given in french so I had to guess how many litres to put in when returning.

the truck was good, however, it was dirty. There was spilled tea or coffee in the cup holders and did not smell good. Also, nobody did a walk around with me to confirm any prior damage.

The second time I've used U-Haul and both times was sent to a distant location rather than the contracted location for pick-up. The Vendor and U-Haul Customer Service/Complaints Dept. could have cared less. The fellow at the Cust Serv./Complint Dept . was very rude and condesending.

Found the location of the equipment ok but had a difficult time finding the office which was at a different location. The person did not inspect the inspect the UHaul equipment or my equipment with me. As it turned out the rollers on the door of the trailer we’re so rusty we had to pry it opened with a crowbar then it was different to close it.

Representative was very abrupt and didn’t feel like he should do a pre trip walk around , when I walked around the truck noticing body damage and a drivers side head light that was out , he seemed less then eager to explain the damage or have the headlight bulb replaced , back of truck body/cargo area was far from clean

I reserved moving blankets / pads and was assigned to a location that didn't carry them. I reserved for an evening pickup and was assigned to a location that closed at 5. The people at Wisebuys were nice but didn't know what they were doing.

I have rented this truck for 24 hours by internet, but when I went to pick it up they told that it was only for 8 hours. 8 hours it´s not enough. The office guys were nice and friendly.

I had such a bad experience with Uhaul; I will never rent from them again. There needs to be some consistency amongst the stores.
