Somebody from uhaul was supposed to call me the day before and nobody did. They changed my pickup location and I wanted to know why because my original pickup location was only 10 minutes away compared to 45 minutes until I changed that location for 20 minutes because it was easier for my friends that was going to help me but it all worked out.

Virginia WilliamsThis experience was a nightmare from Hell, not because of the location or the worker but using the share app from the phone. I arrived for my pickup at 6:50 a.m. for 7:00 a.m. time reservation. The app didn’t contain my reservation I had to call the 800 number spoke with several different representatives who could not resolve the issue. I spent two (2) hours and fifteen (15) minutes back and forth on the phone consistently. Until finally the manager arrived and unlocked the box so I could retrieve the keys and leave. However, this caused me lost time and two (2)) loaders that wa# scheduled to help. They had to return so they could go to their jobs causing me to not complete my job and a wasted HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS and FORTY FOUR CENTS ($120.44) paid cast at desk, plus gas refill. A NIGHTMARE FROM HELL. I will never utilize your app again. VERY ANGRY IN BRIDGETON NEW JERSEY

KAREN ARTHURYou should tell customers up front about the ins. Fee being a daily rate and there are way to many hidden fees and taxes I was charged 17.00 for gas that was less than a quarter used I can fill a whole car for that.

CLARA OGLESBYI reserved a 26' truck w/ 24 pads. They only had 20 pads. Corporate should have made sure they had the proper equipment. Also for what Uhaul charges for their vehicles, they should at least have cruise control, and air ride seats.

theresa davidAs soon as I walked into the office I was hit with a barrage of cigarette smoke, which filled room. The reason I mentioned this is that I have breathing issues. The same with the rental vehicle was stench filled from cigarette smoke. I am one individual, but to me this is unacceptable and not a way to run a business!!!
KURT TERHUNEThe guy I rented from was pleasant to talk to & had me out of there in about ten minutes. He's great at his job. It was nice to drive a brand new van. I have never gotten such a great vehicle from U-Haul. Best experience with this company ever, in 20 years!

CARL JACKSONTerrible. Was told to pick it up at one time and they were closed. Was told to put a certain amount of fuel in the truck per the guy doing my contract. I did what he told me and they hit me with a fuel charge. Never ever will I rent from uhaul. I will find other was to do what I had to do. Only went to uhaul due to the weather this weekend. Totally dissatisfied.

I have a receipt that says $107.00 but I have a print out from my account that says $237.00......... Someone made a little money off of a family that day. Court papers filed in small claims court

Thomas Uhland JrMake it easy to fill up gas tank to the point that is required. I am sure people leave too much gas in the tank. I just left $40.00 worth of gas. I know it is my own fault, but I didn't know how much gas the truck used per mile. Everything else was excellent.

BILL POMPPERI put the gas back in the tank exactly as it was left and they charged me $30 anyway. I have rented from other locations and never had an issue. Also, their was something spilled all over the inside of the truck, I let him know and he said, "don't worry about that, just mske sure the back is swept out before you return it." When I questioned him about the gas I was told " come look if you want" Also the office was closed when I went to pick up the truck for 1245 so I had to run errands while I waited for them to reopen at 130. Terrible customer service!!! Go to the auto shop up the road to rent.

JOE MURNANEYou can assure the next customer that they will not have to endure the inconvenience that I did. Unfortunately, the 14ft truck with a ramp that I booked did not come back before 5:30pm when the U-Haul location was scheduled to close, (we had several phone calls to make special arrangements with our car rental because we were coming from Florida to arrive late for this truck). Therefore, the manager only presented the option of renting a 10ft truck which was on site but did not have a ramp. This made it very complicated and stressful to load and unload my motorcycle, return the truck and continue our travel with the car rental. The manager at the pick up location was very frustrated with not having the 14ft truck returned and was not willing to be more helpful other than to offer us a 10ft truck, for the same price, before leaving at 5:30 sharp. His "take it or leave it" attitude was a reflection of how little regard he has for customer service. Perhaps a willingness on his part to "go the extra mile" and express a willingness to accommodate our needs; or simply, to have had available an additional 14ft truck on hand would have made our experience with U-Haul one in which we would now be encouraging our friends more positively.

Enrique RodriguezMy pick-up was supposed to be at Finish Line in Millvile by 1:00 pm. This locations was around the block from the items I had to move. I got there at noon and they were closed. Very unprofessional and I lost an hour of time,,,,had three people standing around waiting, while customer service found a new place and going to Bridgeton and back. Your employees were very helpful and apologitic.
