My point is that I keep my cab very clean and with the deck sock or slipper clean; the truck I rented needs a dealer level cleaning; ... other than this minor detail, everything was just fine ... The trailer that I rented was dirty and needed to be swept out. Also, even though it was a covered trailer, a wooden dresser that was placed at the back of it got wet and warped a top corner. A decent amount of wetness spit in through the door side as well during the trip.SARAH JEAN V.

My wife and I are in our 70's so the whole computerized pickup and return process was very frustrating. It took us over an hour and fifteen minutes to access the keys and inspect the condition of the vehicle. The only positive was that your system for online, personal support was outstanding. Most of our problem was caused by the dealer not being open on Sunday's. So the whole process was computer driven. Being well adept with a smart phone is also a must which neither of us are. D&J are great - However UHAUL is not Last night your website app to return vehicles after hours would not take photos. I had to call you customer service number - I waited darn near 30 minutes before someone answered my call- then I had to spend another 20 minutes on the phone with her. Parking lot was pretty congested as this location provides automotive service for the community in addition to being a U-Haul location. Staff pulled the truck we rented out of the parking spot stating they do so "because people have hit other vehicles" in their lot previously due to the congestion. Not optimal, but check-out went smoothly and inspection concerns were noted on the contract and damage stickers adhered to the vehicle.DONALD NICHOLAS L.

When I rented a U-Haul truck recently, I received an email with a link to an application for the rental return process. However, when I rented a trailer, no email was sent to me with instructions for the return process. It wasn't till I had dropped the trailer off (after normal work hours) and drove home that I discovered the fine print in the rental contract which stated I would be charged $20 if I didn't use the mobile app, AT THE RENTAL LOCATION, to check the trailer in! It would have been nice to have gotten an email letting me know how to check the trailer in, similar to the email I got for the truck rental. The people at the rental office never mentioned the $20 fee that would be imposed if I didn't check the trailer return in myself.DOUGLAS MICHAEL R.

Had taken pictures of mileage and fuel and exterior and deposited key in lock box. Then started filing return truck on cell phone. Was not able to upload pictures taken a minute ago as web app does allow picture take to be used. This was not disclosed at pick up that all photos had to be taken after log in Before returning key after hours, all that was mentioned was I could return truck after hours.WARREN EDWARD D.

uhaul trailer was not swept out there was a toy cardinal bird in it and a bunch of gravel stones and she did not tighten the ball hitch to my ball when I asked her if I was all set so I drove off then I get a phone call telling me to turn around and come back because she forgot to take a picture and tighten the ball hitch to the ball.Thomas D.
