The day before my rental, I got a courtesy call from the original location to verify my rental details and get this set up for the following morning. They told the 20’ truck that I originally requested was t readily available and that I’d need to wait until later in the day than I had preferred to pick one up, so I requested to switch to a 15’ truck. That switched my pickup place to the location listed above, where I was supposed to meet a guy named Tullio at 7 AM sharp to get my truck. They also changed my drop off location on the phone; I only got a text notification updating my pick up location (this becomes important later). I get in at 7, no one’s there to greet us so we wait 20-30 min. Finally a female (obviously not Tullio) checks me in, takes my ID info, and charges my card. There were no mats even though I ordered 3 dozen and the lady on the phone the day before said she had called ahead to confirm the mats were available. The dollies were there at least. Then the lady takes us in the lot, points to our rental, and walks away. She didn’t have us fill out or sign any agreement, which apparently has to be done through the app at the actual pickup location. So on the delivery route back, we stopped by to get in range to process the agreement on the app, but the link timed out. So we go inside to speak with someone, and apparently Tullio was there at this point, but he said several times that he had no idea what I was talking about and just kept shrugging. This wasn’t even the worst part of the experience but it sure didn’t make an already stressful day any easier.

Fraudulent fuel charges for 30 miles use and 4 gallons of fuel charged for only 30 miles and at $20 per gallon. Further action will be taken.
Haggith ENo, because when I picked it up the person in charge of showing the car did not come out to show the car, he was not friendly, the truck was not clean. and it only took what arrived., To pick up the car and that was it, it was up to me to verify everything regarding the car. Piedad CCould not find “guaranteed” contract and redid the whole thing. Equipment requested was not in truck. Has to return to facility to request and “add” more to contract,”. Had to wait for store manager to arrive and “work the system” to do all that. Severe delay due to language barrier. Truck not clean inside or out. Truck not swept full of broken glass. Other users belongings in cargo area? Delay caused me to have to change plans and keep truck longer than contract and was charged for second day! Returning truck was met with confrontation with “car washing attendant “ private business in UHaul agents parking lot, as to where I could park a 26’ truck. Spent hours working out these orders and nothing went smoothly.

EMERSON TThe pick up time was 9:00 am. I was obliged to wait about 30 minutes before I received the key. As soon as I opened the truck door while doing the interior inspection, it was difficult for me to breathe because it smelled a lot. It looks like someone urinated inside the truck and they did not take care of it. The tenant at the gas station could not give me any disinfectant to help with the smell. I was obliged to go back home to get Lysol for that smell. The truck needs a deep clean in the interior. Beside that I took the truck with half tank of gas and I returned it with 3/4 of gas. I nee a refund on the gas.
HERNS MThey added safemove after I declined it and it took them an hour to give me the key because their computer doesn’t work well. When I dropped off the key I was harassed by a man on drugs with his exposed butt hanging out of his pants begging to use my phone.

eduardo gThere was all kinds of ‘homeless people milling about the lot’ , did not seem to be security/ authority personnel in the lot. Two nice ladies in station to do pickup screen, though. Truck was in decent shape , although I did not have the check in process explained to me at pickup or during multiple contact I had with U-Haul personal thorough out this rental experience. (I assume it is the ‘heavily Spanish speaking community’ dealing with in Miami South Florida .

XIMENA CSpent about 20mins in the store trying to pick up unit because u-haul app wasn't working properly. Driver license picture capture would not upload license. Vehicle did not have the hand truck/dolly that was ordered, and attendant did not speak good English which created a bit of a communication barrier. The experience was certainly not as I expected. Although the vehicle was a fairly new unit/ van w/680 miles.

I just got a bill from the location for $170 listing a wrong destination charge and an extra day charge, stating the truck was returned at 2pm on Monday, March 2. No idea what the wrong destination charge is about. I've tried calling to fix this and no one picks up the phone.

Luis DHorrible customer service with no knowledge of how to use the interface when a customer has been approved remotely using a mobile device, the whole encounter of waiting to get the keys for the truck took over an hour. Because of this experience I was late to my drop off and had to pay the extra fee associated with doing the U-Haul/share feature. Please, either train the people on location to better use the interface or just remove the service from this gas station.

Dieufils DI had a reservation pick up time of 8:30 am. I go to the gas station and the person who handles UHaul didn’t get in till 9:30 am. The staff was very rude and extremely unprofessional, she didn’t want to communicate with me in english she kept insisting I speak in spanish. Only problem with this is I’m not nor do I speak spanish. So the “insult person” finally gets there and they don’t have moving tools...i.e. hand trucks, appliance dolly’s or moving blankets. both of which I needed for the moving company that was waiting at my house as I waited for this location to actually manage my reservation. I would give them a negative rating if was possible and suggest to uhaul to remove their service from this location!
