RONALD B.We attempted to extend the vehicle and were threatened to bring the vehicle back or it would be reported as stolen when we had no issue paying for the extension. Using the words stolen or theft with a paying customer is completely disrespectful and the use of that language really made for a horrible customer experience.

FARRONN D.Overall my experience was horrible. The sales rep was very friendly and came off helpful. Once I made it back to my house in Beaumont from Port Arthur I realized the dolly wasn't in the trailer. When I called the U-Haul place back the rep told me to go to U-Haul on Milam in Beaumont because it was closest to me. Upon arriving there were U-haul trailers any and EVERYWHERE LITERALLY. I stood in line for about 15 minutes before one of the 4 customers(on the phone) in front of me said that he had been in line for THIRTY MINUTES. I asked the employee as he was walking outside with a LINE OF CUSTOMERS if he was the only one working and he looked me dead in the eyes and said yes. About 10 minutes later another employee pops out of the back. At this point I am PISSED. Don't lie to me!!! There is a line of customers and you don't call for help and NO ONE comes out to help. At this point, the line is literally out the door, AND ITS RAINING. I called the rep who I got the U-Haul from to let him know that I didn't have time to wait can I go somewhere else because the line is too long. He told me that he didn't know anywhere else I could go and he understood because he'd just left from there. We hung up. LONG story short. I WAITED IN LINE FOR OVER AN HOUR WITH 2 U-HAUL EMPLOYEES WHO DIDNT HAVE A CARE IN THE WORLD, THEY WALKED BACK AND FORTH OUTSIDE WITH NUMEROUS CUSTOMERS IN LINE, THE GUY I DEALT WITH WAS NOT FRIENDLY AND DIDN'T TRY TO GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND AND I DIDN'T GET MY DAMN DOLLY BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY OF EITHER KIND. THAT'S SOME BS WHEN YOU'RE MOVING UPSTAIRS WITH A SECTIONAL, DEEP FREEZER, A HEAVY-DUTY KING AND A QUEEN SIZE BED, A GLASS DINING ROOM TABLE, ETC. IN THE RAIN WITH NO DOLLY!!!! I WILL NEVER AGAIN AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND EITHER PLACE.
