Moving truck was filthy --- dirt everywhere and the truck's storage floor hadn't even been sweeped out. Checked a box upon drop-off indicating that the truck wasn't clean in the hope that it would be cleaned for the next renter.Â Instead, the app added aÂ $25 charge for cleaning.Â Indicated in drop-off notes that the truck was filthy at pick-up and didn't expectÂ to be charged for the lack of truck preparation on Uhaul's part...no adjustment to the bill or contact by the rental location or Uhaul customer service. The uhaul website and app are so full of bugs that it took over an hour to get the truck. When I wanted to enter a dispute with the truck being clean, it would just blink a blue box over the upload photo button which forced me to just say it was clean. I lost an hour of my rental time messing with the horrible app/website. Also, the last time I rented from uhaul, I got charged twice for the same auto hauler. I've been trying to get a refund but uhaul had made multiple mistakes before that mistake, causing everything to be so confusing nobody at uhaul seems to be able to understand what happened. I have contacted uhaul and got connected to a manager who was rude and acted like I was bothering her. This, of course, was after an hour and a half on the phone with uhaul. Thanks for stealing my money, wasting my time, and treating me poorly when I try to fix your mistake. I will never rent from uhaul again.Eric F.

The gas was on the same level when I picked the truck up when I dropped it off. in Avon Ohio. They are telling me it is lower. And the mile limit was higher then what I drove .Jason G.

Mileage was incorrect on the rental. Customer service was no help. When I turned the rental in I spoke with the owner of the shop. He stated it would be fine. I just now got billed $160 for the incorrect mileage. Very upset over this. Will never use Uhaul againbenajmin S.

After driving 300 miles and having just crossed the Ohio River bridge on I-71 South in Northern KY the hitch of the trailer popped up and damn near killed the three of us and several others nearby. But for the Grace of God and my nephew's skill we managed to cross four lanes of traffic and stop on the right hand side of the road. Upon inspection the trailer hitch broke the plastic bumper and severely twisted the frame of my truck and tore off the electrical connection. The whipping trailer severely twisted tongue and tore off the brake reservoir essentially destroying the brakes which makes my nephew's action all the more remarkable. After reattaching the trailer and speaking to Roadside Assistance we located a U-Haul Dealership 12 miles away on Dixie Hwy in Northern KY with 20 minutes before closing. Roadside Assistance was totally worthless while being rude and crude to the woman at the dealership. Who eventually contacted someone who approved the switch of the 6 x 12 trailer with a 15 foot box truck. That dealership and particularly that lady are gems and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. We were able to complete our trip on time to TN and continue to Daytona Beach Fl. .MARK R.

I am so disappointed with D&J Detzels Garage. I reserved a uhual by calling the uhual at Westlake, OH. However, when I went to D&J Detzels Garage, there was a sign "Go for Fishing" and I had no idea how I should pick up the key. I called customer service of uhaul but the customer service was too poor!Reza H.

Both times I have used this service I have had to drive 30 mins out of my way to receive my truck instead of getting it from the requested pick up location. There should be someone or someway to get the truck people request at the location they request it at. It is not our fault that the system doesn't tell you until the day before if they have a truck available. Overall, I will probably not use this company again.myranda B.
