Make sure inside box is clean. The one I rented had debris and was wet inside. I had to sweep it and dry all the water before I could begin to load the truck.

It made for a horrible experience and caused me to be sick to my stomach all night. I am extremely disappointed at this type of service.

William RI reserved a truck with an appliance dolly at the Perth Amboy location (Petroleum 19) for 8am. When I arrived and started the pickup process, I was told my truck was now unavailable. Uhaul had to transfer my reservation to the Iselin location (Deepa). I got there at 8:45am. The truck was messy and sticky in the cab. Since I was now running late, I chose not to make it an issue. When I opened the back to make sure the dolly was there, it was empty. I went back to the office to find out where it is, and I was told they didn't have an appliance dolly. He offered me a regular hand truck, which I reluctantly took because I didn't have any other option. Got on the road at 9:30am (now 1.5 hours behind schedule). There was something wrong with the driver's side door because even though it was fully closed, it sounded like the window was open. Very disappointed with this entire process.

Gunjesh Di was supposed to be charged for maximum 5 miles because that was pick up & drop but he mentioned 8 miles. Then i asked him how much is my total & he is saying you will get a email with details but nothing till now. i booked it at Deepa auto parts route 27.

Naidu GInspect the van, it was pretty dirty and the top taillight was taped not functioning, my experience at the avenel u haul was so much better, clean and well maintained. Could be one off of bad previous user but the dirty was pretty caked on in spots.

GAYLE KThe online van return after hours did not work right and I was charged a premium for not using it. Called and spoke to customer service 4 times to remove the charge and they refused. I’m very disappointed in the way it was handled.
