Pick up was rescheduled by UHaul the day before causing me to drive ~45mi out of my way. Great location with great service, but really inconvenient. I originally booked pickup for local, to save time and fuel, but uhaul didn't have a truck (26') available. The truck had both an alignment issue and a front pass wheel out of balance. Extremely uncomfortable drive. Did a move/trip over 2000mi, so was absolutely miserable on top of all the other shite that goes with moving...

Michael MMake sure to have people check the equipment before they drive off the lot. Just so we know what’s wrong with it, and/or can take pictures. When I returned the trailer, roadside assistance was a joke! The app told me I needed to submit a request. Since it wasn’t a mechanical issue (not being able to get my trailer off of the hitch) they wanted to charge me $300!

Joe HNot everybody can get the mobile app to work! And the man said he could see where I tried to check truck in 1 day late but he charged me extra even though he was closed until Monday, but if he/U-Haul needs the extra day money then he got it. I knew I went over mileage and didn't have problem paying it but I didn't realize just how greedy this place/U-Haul was. (I know it's the dealers choice to charge) Good Greedy Job Dewaynes Auto Center!
d lI could not check-in when delivering the vehicle back to this location. I spent 45 minutes trying. I finally gave up and asked for a rep to call me and left my number The call back would be 6:13 or so so rather than wait in the parking lot another 45 minutes I drove home. I got a call back at 6:45 and she said I had to check in using the wifi at that location in lieu of my cell. Well the gentleman who checked me out did not say that and neither did the check-out instructions!!! So it cost me an enormous amount of extra time and another $20.

Cindee DI was scheduled to deliver my truck and needed assistance with my tow trolley on August 5th, a Saturday. This location was not open nor did anyone return my phone call for assistance. The facility should be open on weekends being a facility of UHAUL and to assist customers.
JOHN GThe drop off location was dirty and in very poor condition.
BARBARA CThe interior of the truck had some substance spewed all over the driver-side interior. The Dewaynes owner said, “it has been there forever”. So he knew about it but refused to clean it. When I turned in the truck I locked it and dropped the keys in the lockbox before I tried to use the U-Haul app to check in the truck. This cost me a $20 fee for a late check-in. Fine. However, the Dewaynes owner also said the odometer reported exactly 250 miles driven. That is a lie. I drove the truck 190.6 miles, including all stops. Since I had filled the truck to full, he drove it to create the false mileage and charged me for the fuel to refill it. Dewaynes Auto are actual crooks.

Larry MI do not have issue with this location but the experience of reserving and picking up truck was less than pleasant. Went to 3 locations to gry truck and then charged for extra day and "coversge" which was unexpected expense. Not using uhaul anymore
Larry DPerson was short, not very communicative and only informed me that I would be charged additional money for exceeding my mileage by the exact number of miles to my house and to the drop off point.

Scott FMy friend picked the trailer up for me and he expressed extreme disappointment with the attitude and customer service of the man but said that when the lady came to the front, she was very nice. When I called to see why $20 was attached to my bill, I experienced the same negative attitude and poor customer service from the man. I hung up on him because I was ready to say something hateful and I didn't want to lower myself to that level. I turned in the trailer early, took pictures and everything, and was never told I was supposed to check in with my phone at any time. My friend was told by the lady that if it was turned in late it was okay, so I am not understanding why it is such a hassle. Also, I had reserved a trailer weeks before at Randy's and received a text message from them asking me to go somewhere else because they were closing early due to graduation. That was not my problem and I had reserved for that location for a reason. They had the equipment but decided to close early...again, not my fault, and the equipment was there. So, according to my reservation guarantee, I am entitled to $50. I think that $20 should be deducted from my guarantee and the $30 balance deposited into my account.

Sean HIt would have been nice if someone would have verbally told me that after hour returns would be charged a $20 fee if not done electronically. I was told just leave the trailer where it was and you’re good. Instead, I got charged and told, it’s in your contract. Funny how the same amount of work to check the trailer back in isn’t charged during regular hours.

CASEY LWe dropped off the trailer at 11:45 am and called the check in number since location was closed (it’s always closed!!!) and we were charged an extra $20!! It’s bad enough that we had to pay double for the rental to be returned here, but an extra $$$$ on top of it?! Really Uhaul?
Ronny CFacility charged me $8.00 insurance when I had unchecked this upon making reservation on line. We dropped off after hours and did exactly what the agent told us to do. We wrote date and time and dropped in a box and no agent was there to assist. When I received the receipt I had a $20 after hours fee. We called the facility and they claim the $8.00 is not an option to not have, which is not true since I just rented a trailer a couple months ago. Also that I didn't go on the app to show return is why I was charged the $20 after hours fee which no one told us that. Also a couple months ago I dropped a trailer and another uhaul that didn't pull this crap. My $20 rental went to $50.

Carol BI had a paid reservation 2 weeks in advance for equipment to be picked up at a specific location . 2 days before moving day I was called and told I would have to pick up at a different location in a different city. I am senior citizen and had several people helping me and needed the reservation I paid in advance for . When checking my reservation status online my equipment reserved when change and I would call and no one could explain why truck would change from 20’ to 15’ I ordered and paid for furniture pads and none where provided. Moving is stressful enough and not being able to depend on UHaul didn’t help.

Michael VI took before pictures because the last time I picked a truck up from there he retired to charge me when the truck was returned. I always clean out the UHaul before return so I took before and after pictures. Plus the guy Dewayne is very smug almost rude when just talking to someone. It just really kind of turns me off on having to deal with him.
TONI RWe called to ensure that we could drop the drop off even though the location was closed on the weekend. We were told yes and that there were no additional charges, yet after the fact I received a bill for additional fees for an after hours drop. We had the truck rented for 2 days and only used it for one - we returned it early yet were charged more. This is not right and upsetting since we did call before we rented it.
Dana EThis location tried to rip me off saying I didn't fill the gas tank when i had done so 5 minutes before i arrived. I had to turn the truck in after 5 PM so no one was available at this dump of a business. The Owner (I guess) is who I spoke with about the extra charges and he is a liar and a thief. Use someone else if you're smart.
William VStaff were very nice and helpful. They inspected the trailer before hooking it up to my vehicle and made sure all the lights work properly.

SCOTTIE TRun by an elderly gentleman who seems to be bored with his job. I ordered a 20 ft truck with a furniture dolly, a hand truck, and 4 sets of furniture pads at least 3 weeks in advance of my trip. After I signed for the truck, Dwayne informed me that he did not have any moving accessories. When I told him that I ordered these items 3 weeks in advance, he said that orders for moving accessories from u-haul indicated a wish not an order. The truck also did not have a working odometer.
