The Diamond Phone Center U-Haul location is one I would highly recommend! The personnel was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The truck was brand new and only had a few hundred miles on it. It made the stressful experience of moving, so much easier.

ASHLEIGH VARGAI had a great experience at Diamonds Phone Center in Rockingham. The operator took the extra time to explain the process and review the equipment. Fully answered all of my questions. My complaint is the previous location where I had originally rented the equipment- M.R. Furniture in Hamlet, NC. When making online reservation for this site, it shows that they were open on Sunday. I arrived onsite at the assigned time and was surprised to find the business closed. I was unable to pickup the equipment. They had a sign on the front door showing business hours and that they were indeed closed on Sunday. I called 800 UHaul number and they too were surprised to find this. Fortunately they were able to find me equipment at another location. When making the original reservation, there was a guarantee that the equipment would be available or I would be paid $50. That is certainly what happened at M.R. Furniture. Very much of an inconvenience and I do believe I should be compensated. Additionally, someone should make sure that this business updates there hours with you on the Uhaul website.

latonya birdThe white man that came out on Saturday 7th was rude. He came out the store before we went in store to turn in keys. He had us to check brake light, sinal lights, Head lights and all that to return truck. I told him we weren't responsible for maintenance of truck, then I had to go in while he put everything in system. I told him why I have to come in . I just want to turn in key and leave. I felt like he was harrassing us because we were black.
