The location and people were fine, but I think there was a miscommunication between the two men there when I picked up the truck, so I ended up with only a half-dozen moving blankets instead of the dozen. There also wasn't enough parking when I returned the truck as the lot was completely full, and the help line had no idea about the "extra parking" space I was told to ask about, so I ended up spending nearly an hour calling (and on hold) and then driving around the neighborhood for street parking. Overall, it was not terrible, but I think I should get a refund for the blankets that were never provided and some of the mileage.

Pickup was quick and easy. I was charged the one way rental for a utility dolly when I was returning to the same location. Should have been $7 but I was charged $10.

I got great service from the reps. But receiving a van with only 1/8th tank of gas proved stressful as I was beginning to run low on my first drive. Then to return it with 1/8th of a tank -- how was I supposed to know how much to put in? I ended up losing a few dollars worth of gas, as I overfilled it because I wanted to be safe. Renters do not know the vehicles or how fast they go through fuel. I would suggest providing a full tank for your customers' peace of mind.

Check in was easy and staff was pleasant. All requested equipment was in the cargo van we rented and the blankets were clean. There was space to park the van when we returned it. Charges to my credit card were accurate. I would definitely rent from U-haul again and return to this location.

Abide by the reservation processed. Had a 7 am pick up RESERVED....my daughter hay the manager.d to be out of her appartment by 12 noon....When I got there, was told there was no vehicle available until 4 pm that day. After 1 1/2 hr wait and intervention from HO I received a truck.... Not the slightest apology b

This is the second time we have had a reservation issue. They didn't have our truck available at the time we needed it and then when they found a truck for us they messed up the return location.

It isn't clear how you should pull into this location. One entrance is on a one way street, and it seems like this is the only place to pull in. But you can't do so from the main street. This made it difficult to drop off the truck. We got told off by an employee for turning into the Uhaul location from the one way street because the truck was the wrong way, but it wasn't clear how else we should approach the location. The employee was very rude and made a long day even longer by being a bit of an asshole, frankly.

we dropped they truck off around midnight in the one spot that was available off of dundas and were immediately berated by an employee (who we didn't even know was there!?) who was incredibly rude and condescending

I was charged for a dolly and a mat that I said I didn't want in the first place. Also I was running late and trying to call them to ask about extending the hours but I called 10 times with no answer. The guy on the other end kept just picking up and hanging up the phone.... so not the ideal experience

I was given the confirmation on the site that I was getting a 9' van. Instead I got a trailer truck because they said they ran out of vans. Not cool. I've never driven a truck before and was nervous driving it to my place and wasn't comfortable driving it on the highway so I brought it back. Next time if you don't have a van then don't tell me on the website there's a van available or else I wouldn't have done the order. Don't lie.

I was scheduled to pick up the trailer at 9 but didn't leave until 9:30 because the trailer had to be cleaned out since it was full of garbage. There was still some debris left in it when I rented it, such as a dirty q-tip and dirty paper towels, pieces of metal, etc. Getting the trailer hitched to my car was an ordeal, you have to back into a busy alleyway where people are honking at you and pedestrians going by. This was a terrible experience.

The website looks beautiful on the phone but nothing I tried doing worked. I ended up having two bookings, I couldn't make changes, I couldn't 'check out'. Price was crazy! Without making it clear, they doubled all charges (environ fee, insurance and base fee). Defeinlty not going to use U Haul again. I can just book a truck for cheaper for a whole day!

We booked the truck for 1pm and had to wait almost an hour after that for it to arrive. We had to pay our movers for the hour and lost an hour of our elevator booking forcing us to rush through the move. Very poor service. Will not use uhaul again in the future.

Cashier claimed that the rental fee for the extra utility and furniture dolly was $10 each, when the U-Haul website clearly stated that it was $7 each. When questioned about the discrepancy, the explanation given was that the website price was in USD. Rather odd that the truck rental price would be in CAN but the equipment rental in USD, no? In the end, $7 CAN was charged. Let the buyer beware.

I booked van for 1:30pm and it was pushed to 2:15. I showed up at 2:10 and van had not yet been returned by previous client. The customer service was horrible, he called the girl who had the van and said when she said 20 more mins, he said "ok, no worries!" Not, "there are people waiting, please hurry!" He told us to go get a coffee and come back later. The van was not returned until 3 and we missed our service elevator time slot. Very poorly handled by the location.

When a customer shows up at a location with a time booked, the person behind the desk should ask people making new bookings on the phone to hold and should certainly NOT take new phone calls before attending to the customers in front of them - as they did.

Operate under your posted business hours. I reported the gas in the car was less than indicated on the contract drove 9km with the truck yet I have $14 in gas charges. This seems to happen a lot from the google reviews of this location. The truck I got was not clean and smelt like urine. I have attempted to call the location numerous times and nobody is picking up the phone.

I booked a 26 foot truck from Etobicoke to Ajax. The day before the move uhaul called and told me that I could only have a 15 foot truck, and would have to drive 53 minutes away to pick it up in Barrie and then drop it off in Ajax. I was upset, so the girl told me that she found me a 15 foot truck in downtown Toronto and that they would credit me the mileage to drive it to Ajax twice because they couldn't give me a 26 foot. They also said I had to pick it up in one hour. So I sent my father in law to get it. Upon getting the truck contract from my father in law, I see that not only did I have to send someone to pick the truck up over 30kms from my home, but I also had to drive it to Ajax twice, AND RETURN IT BACK TO TORONTO. So now uhaul has waste about 4 hours of my time and made me drive all over the place and then I look at the price they charged my visa... $162!!!!! For a rental that should have been $25 as I was made to return it to the same location!!!!
