Easy and convieniant pick up process, I came in with no reservation, a truck was avalible and I was on my way in less than 20 minutes. Waht can you do to improve for the next customer? Make it less than 19 minutes!Keith B.
My son in law, sister in law and I had made plans to rent a 10 foot truck and a trailer to move items from my cousin's estate back to Ohio. At the time of scheduling the rental online, we were not told at that time where the truck and trailer would be located. We thought they would be in Sunnyvale, CA. We had made plans to fly into the San Jose airport because it was the closest to where we needed to be. Two days before we were to leave, a call came from Uhaul saying that the truck was in Dixon, CA and the trailer was in Fremont, CA neither were close to Sunnyvale where we needed to be. So, three air flights had to be changed from for arrival at San Jose airport to the Sacramento airport, an unplanned rental car had to be gotten to get to the truck, gas expenses, not to mention the inconvenience and an additional 6 hours lost time all because no one bothered to tell us in advance where the truck and trailer pick up points were going to be! Also, appointments had to be changed. Uhaul made a quick trip from Ohio to California miserable. So no, there will be no recommendation forth coming for Uhaul.Richard M.

Both ladies were amazing! We ended up having to wait for our truck about an hr due to the previous renter chose to show up a hr later then they said. But it was cleaned quickly and paper work was done fast they even added a day for the inconvenience. Thank you both for being on top of it and amazing.Garron I.
The check in process was extremely lengthy and tedious. Much of the steps with pointless and excessive. This took about an hr and a half. The truck felt very unstable and was very jerky thru the whole trip. It did not feel safe, it felt like at any moment it would break down. We also didn't learn in advance they did not have everything we opted to rent. Uhual should only allow people to rent things the stations have and/or advance notice so they can accommodate. Little things like that go a long way when moving. It's hard enough as it is than to deal with this. I won't be booking a uhaul as my next truck rental after this check in experienceEzekiel G.

The Dixon U-Haul was great. My problem with this reservation is that I made it for a pick up in Davis, 8 miles away. I only discovered that the truck was in Dixon when I arrived at the Davis U-Haul. This frankly is unacceptable. The records showed a call to me on 12/13 presumably notifying me of the change but I never received this call. The Davis location said that they didn't typically do one way rentals either even though I was able to make a reservation online for that location. If I ever use U-Haul again I hope not to have to deal with this kind of inconvenience.David A.

Signage is not great. Drop off was at night after hours and mobile did not work for whatever reason.Margrit Christia O.
The drop off location was ridiculous. Not enough spots to park and nowhere to drop off key. Wasted over an hour there and spoke to at least 3 people at the uhaul main number. Did not get help. Have to drive there again, 15 minutes once more to drop off the key. I will be complaining by phone. Horrible experience.Tamar A.

Every U-Haul dealer I've worked with has been great. U-Haul as a company sucks. This is the 2nd large truck I've rented this year for an out of state move. The last one switched the pickup location to roughly 30 miles away. Then had to pick up the truck at another location because here was something wrong with the truck. U-Haul basically looks at the inventory the day before your pickup and can change anything they like. You would think if you need to order weeks in advance they would provide you the equipment you ordered at the place you ordered if from. I wouldn't recommend them for that reason.William F.

It would help to make it clearer that a customer can leave her car on site for as long as she is renting a truck. It was fabulous being able to rent entirely electronically...with 24/7 service!Joan V.
The on-line system is a nightmare. I was not able to get through to the end but it still made a reservation for me. A key problem was the requirement for really hard passwords. I tried a password I use for low traffic sites, did not work for you, doubled it, still not good enough. If you want security go to two factor authentication. But what you are doing is not working.Gary D.

Staff was unwelcoming not friendly or informative, when it came time to turn in the uhal the lady at the front desk was very dismissive and stated that my receipt would be emailed to me. When I asked what the total came out to be she then stated that if I wanted to know my total to wait five minutes due to her counting her register. I drove from Dixon ca to Fairfield ca in one day. She then stated I used 113 miles. When she read how many miles I started off with I realized their number recorded was incorrect being that I had a photo and notated the miles before I left the lot. She proceeded to go back and fourth with me asking for proof. Once realizing her information was incorrect she explained she would charge me $91.00 for the day even though my receipt given to me had a rough estimate of no more then $51.00 keep in mind Dixon ca to Fairfield ca round trip is no more then 38 miles. When I asked her to review the original receipt they provided me with asking where she was getting $91.00 from she then didnt day anything and was again dismissive by charging me the correct amount of $48.00. This was my first time renting from U Hal and it was a terrible experience for me to have to prove and have evidence of the correct information. That is not my job to do so it was so unprofessional I wouldn't recommend anybody to rent from this location. If it hadn't been for me having that proof of miles and receipt I would have definitely been ripped off. And this is the last thing anybody should have to endure after a very long day of moving.Alissa O.

Didn't have much time in there. Just dropping off. Information was keyed in incorrectly and we were accidentally charged an extra day but it was fixed by Betty at our pickup location. Would probably only recommend this spot to anybody just moving local in town.Gianina A.
