I have never seen Uhaul trailers so clean and well prepped for pick up. The manager of this site takes pride in what he does. The trailers are lined up nicely, the chains and wiring are neatly kept on each trailer. The transaction was quick and easy. Highly recommended.Leon G.

My reservation was at a different location but they didn't have the truck we needed so they sent us to this location that was 40 minutes away. That person should not be handling the Uhaul business. The business was open but the person doing Uhaul left for an hour and a half for God knows what reason. His brother running the convenience store told us that he was drunk. It took him over an hour to check us out. There was no check out inspection of the trailer. The truck had low tire pressure, trash inside of it and sand all over the floor. Myself and my family have rented from Uhaul for years and have never had an issue. I am so absolutely disgusted with my experience with this man that I don't know that I'll be using Uhaul again if this is the kind of people you have representing your name. I would really appreciate some type of response from you guys. I really think this man should have Uhaul taken away from him. Also, I don't get to utilize my free month of storage (which I needed desperately) because there weren't any available locations near me. I drove 2 hours to get to Florence where I reserved the auto transport to be told there was not one there when I arrived. The front desk told me someone should have called me, didn't happen. Very unprofessional UHAUL, I had to dive to Sumter and back to get the trailer. Who is going to reimburse my fuel for this mistake?Matthew A.

The â€œofficeâ€ was a mess as if it were an after thought put in the back of a liquor store (which smelled like mold). The window opening was behind a barrier of soda box deliveries that were piled up to the counter, leaving no space to work at the counter. The advisor I worked With was unwilling to properly inspect the cargo trailer per U-haul's standardized procedures as he didn't want to put stickers on every dent or marking stating it would be â€œtoo much workâ€ for him, and then then couldn't put any stickers on because he was OUT of them (conveniently. Save yourself the headache and don't use this location!Francesca G.

My order was completely screwed up. I made the reservation with a vendor and did all communications with them. I made a change to the destination point which was not recorded. It took 2 days to correct the order after the fact. I asked for truck for one day and was charged for two days and corrected destination was 100 miles less original. I feel I was overcharged thru limited fault of my own! Will not use uhaul again.Helen N.

I was charged the wrong amount for the truck as for the per mile amount. When questioned and proved wrong personnel still refused to change it. Also the person working had a child working the register and the charging the customers. Also they gave me a receipt detailing that I did not fuel the truck upon return. The staff was not properly trained and was inefficient. After waiting for over two hours for a receipt, was given the wrong information on the receipt. There was no one in the location for 15 minutes to receive our equipment. There was dirt all over the counter. Called an 877 number and after being on hold for 10 minutes spoke with a lady named Kimberly who then placed me on hold to call the store manager to see what he had to say, of course he said it was computer issues but being able to see the computer screen, that was a lie. When Kimberly got back on the line I asked to speak to someone to tell them about the complication, she transferred me to customer service. I then explained the happenings and she then wanted to transfer me to the area manager. I was transferred back to the same Kimberly that transferred me to her. Not once was an apology given from anyone that I spoke to for any reason. Will not be using uhaul ever again.Crystal B.
First of all my initial reservation fell through because the guy there double booked. This happened at s&s muffler. I was quoted a fair rate at S&S muffler. Because of their error I was sent to 1290 N. kings hwy. Because this was not my fault they could have given me the previous offer instead of charging me $100 more. The rental agents were very unknowledgeable and could use some training. It took almost 2 hours to complete our pickup and I ended up filling out most of the information on the agents computer. The truck had a few issues the biggest being the alignment. I have spoke with customer service and logged a formal complaint but overall we love UHaul and will continue to use them for any moving needs.Kendra S.

First of all, the total experience was terrible!! On top of everything, the rep is trying to charge us over $200 for a 1 day rental, when it's suppose to be only $39.99 a day!!! Unacceptable!!!!!!!! Representative needs to be educated on process. Was to time consuming because of lack of knowledge. Rates are rediculous for trolleys $75 but I can rent entire truck for $19.99GERREL S.

Pick-up took over 1 hour. Site was unable to provide me a printed or electronic contract and said to contact U-Haul's 1-800 number. They proceeded to give me the truck. After calling U-Haul 8 hours later, I was informed the records showed the truck was never picked up and I needed to return to the site to get a new contract.scott C.

Have trailer hooked up to truck before customer shows up for pickup. Have blankets and dollies loaded in truck before customer arrives. When customer arrives, immediately produce paper work and get the customer out the door as quickly as possible. It took me an hour to get my truck/trailer. That's unacceptable.
