This was an absolute worse experience. The truck was not cared for. Dj mart was very incompetent to be a u haul rental place. I was the only customer yet it took over half an hour to process my rental initially. The lady was rude, she kept pushing the button on the machine because i was reading what was written on it, didn't get to read the whole thing as she pushed it right away. They never went over what was damage or the overall condition pf the truck. Everything was so unclear. If i knew that day that my experience would be like that i wpuld have been to other rental place, it’s unfortunate that i didnt have time to cancel my rental as i needed the truck for a move, i would have gone to other place. I shouldn’t have relied on this.

This is a grocery store... it took too long to check in as there was only one person working the store and there were many customers. Also, the truck had a broken right side mirror and had low pressure on the right rear tire ... also the gas cap was loose and alarms went off when I first drove it. This location is obviously does not take care of its vehicles.

Staff was not trained at all. Took over 20 minutes to get the order together. They did not even bother to visually inspect the condition of the truck, they simply said we'll check it when it's back. I asked if they know what or if there is any current damage, they had no idea and didn't seem to care. This location does not deserve to have Uhaul trucks and brings a poor experience to the brand. Avoid at all costs.

The truck is in rough shape. The ball bearing is definitely broken which makes it hard to drive. The location it’s in is super dirty and the people just speak another language in front of you the entire time and you don’t understand what’s going on.

The lady was nice enough but had no idea how to properly check me out. I had to end up doing it myself on the website. Kind of a random place for a Uhaul too. Maybe Uhaul needs to train the people at these kind of places so they know how to properly use the application provided

Rating:

Train the staff. It took 30 minutes when picking it up, and 45 minutes to return. We had to explain the difference between miles and kilometers, and the system wanted to charge us for 2 days when we had it for only 8 hours. I have used Uhaul many times at other locations, and this is the only time I've had this issue. Thank you.

Need to make sure that staff are trained on how to rent out your vehicles. I spent aot of time getting a truck and returning it. Had to have someone from your head office help. Definitely wont rent from uhaul again.
