This was the worst rental experience I've ever had. The on-site U-Haul representative at 92 Arrow Rd was absolutely useless. It took over 2 hours to get the keys to the rental truck that day. The next day Uhaul called to inform me that the rental wasn't returned even though I handed the keys back to the useless representative at 92 Arrow Rd. Afterward, I reached out to Uhaul to share my experience and the representative had major attitude. This will be the last time I ever use Uhaul for my rental needs. Do yourself a favor and save time by renting elsewhere!Roberto B.

Date April 27th 2022 Service - Uhaul truck rental Dispute - Failed to refund Location - Uhaul, 2753 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9M 2R5 CA I rent a truck from Uhaul on April 27th 2022 and some blankets for covering my furniture. When I realized that I need to pick up the blankets from a different location I decided to cancel. I called the customer service line and they told me it was cancelled. I proceed with my transaction for the truck and returned the truck on time and paid for it. After a while, I realized that they charged me for extra $81.53 for an order I never made and never picked up (moving supplies). I waited for a while hoping that they refund my money back and they didn't. I called customer service and they told me that the order is cancelled and my money will be back in several business days. I waited two weeks and went to the location which took my money. After making me wait for 50 minutes in line they said the order is already cancelled and money will be refunded soon. The money was never refunded to me and when I call customer support they just transferred me to that same store saying that they have to cancel it. The location doesn't answer their phone and when they do they hung up on my face. I literally scammed 81 dollars by Uhaul and no one cares about my situation. I already filed a complaint to Better Business Bureau. Thanks for scamming me.yunusemre G.
The mobile check in was terrible. Picking up was frustrating because it required all these things which i didnt have on me (passport/lease etc) and took too long to get "approval". I had to be somewhere I am was just there waiting to find out where the keys were. Dropping off was a nightmare with all the pictures - i kept submitting them and it kept saying they were not accepted or I need a more recent picture when i had just taken it. Customers should be informed in advance that they need to open account and insert pertinent information prior to picking up a car. Some individuals may not be tech savy and have difficulty inserting all required information on their cell phoneGiacomo M.
Make the check in process smoother - your online check in is very problematic. Also if one does not have a phone with a data plan - very limited in renting a truck. At very least all pick up locations should have WIFI and at least telephone connection if online services not working as I have frequently experienced. Live person on site is best. Had there not been a person on site to help with my last rental I would have been stuck without a truck.Giuseppe D.
Gas was on E, app didn't work, door clearly didn't close all the way, broken glass was left in the back along with a bag of dirty clothes, an amplifier, and a dirty bed sheet, requested equipment was not provided, and I was hung up on while waiting to reach the support team. The only saving grace was the guy who ran the business at 92 arrowhead who helped me. Terrible experience.David B.
My Pickup time was 10 Am I got there at 10:05 nobody was there I tried to call then some body came and I asked can I park my vehicle here I'll be back in 4 to 5 hours she replied I don't know check it out if there is any And when I wanna return the vehicle the office was closed as well but other worker for the shipping company saw me and told me let me call the lady and she saw me and told me put key in drop off Box it was at 2:30 but she put it on invoice 3:57 any way would not recommend any one this location and I wanna pick at Weston road location but on reservations time she told me to go thereNaqi A.

Over all getting the U-Haul was quit easy by following simple steps. I recommend to focus on cleaning the van before listing it . The van I got was horrible and dirty in the drivers cabin.. I understand the business. But I am just asking what am paying for. Hope this will motivates to maintain clean vans. Apart from van cleanliness. My experience with all steps very simple and staff was quit professional. Thank you for your service.Sudhakar D.
I requested a dolly with my booking of the truck and it was supposed to be in the truck at the time of pick up as it was a mobile pick up. But it was not there and when I requested uhaul to return the money charged for the dolly, they did not reply and did not return the money as well.Akashdeep B.

The location is not good. Is actually a bit hard to find, because it is on the back of a building. They didn't have the pads I asked for, but charged me for them anyway. Plus, they charge me more KM than I actually drove. Still trying to figure out how to get a partial refund.Marcio N.

The app was terrible.. Downloaded on at least 4 separate devices before one worked and had to call in and speak to two separate agents before being able to pick up my truck.. Took an entire hour when the whole process shouldn't take longer than 5mins, 10mins tops. Please upgrade your technology.. Moving is stressful enough as it is without having to worry about being able to pick up my truck...Tan N.

The service was very very very slow. We waited for half an hour for the guy to get the invoice and everything ready. And we were the only customer there. It seems that we were the first customer he ever dealt with and he didn't know what to do with the software and forms and all. We finally got the van. It was clean but smell terribly. my friend complained it smell like "sheep shit". More over, since the guy had me signed the contract before checking the pedometers, we didn't realize on the contract it indicated there were 1/2 tank gas while it was actually 1/4 tank gas. I got charged over $30 of fuel charge as I only put back to exactly the same 1/4 level we were given. Fortunately we took pictures of the pedometers showing the tank level before and after. I send the photos to the email provided but so far no news whether they will refund me the fuel charge. The experience with this location has been terrible. Please refund my fuel charge. I have rented from Uhaul before but this was the worst experience ever. I had made a reservation almost 2 months before my move. I was advised that the size of truck would be ok for the stuff I have in my home. They recommend 20ft would be fine. When I got to see the truck, it was too small. I had to rent a trailer which cost me 200$. Also, with my reservation it is noted my pick up is in Etobicoke, I get a confirmation call and they tell me there is no truck available there I have to go to North York. Shouldn't there be a shuttle service to make sure the customer gets the truck at the location where they made there reservation for??? This would help your service... Also, I was told to be there at this location in North York for 9 am, person does not show up until 9:30am. I was pressed for time as I was moving from Toronto to Montreal. I had to be on the road by 11 am and with this I was on the road for 1 pm which delayed my move for me. Also at this location it is nowhere land, sketchy area. Need to change location??? When I was ready to pay I was told they do not take debit here, I was told on the phone when I make my reservations that this would not be a problem. I had to run to the bank, more time wasted to pay for this rental. Also, when I finally got the truck there was no GAS!!! and it was noted on the paper I got that it was 1/4 tank full. FALSE!! On top of this the truck would not start we have to get it boosted.. More time wasted!!! With this the agent had to give us $20 to put gas in the car to be be able to get to the gas station. I spent an hour and half at this location just to rent a truck. In all I would appreciate for the time wasted and unprofessional service to be compensate since I had to rent a trailer, no gas, had to boost the truck with this a refund of $1000. Yes $1000 which includes the trailer cost and my rental of the truck. This was a rental from hell!!!lisa T.
