I called and paid in FULL for the uhaul truck before I picked it up. Once I went to the location there was a lady walking away from the building we didn't know she worked there I went up to the door it was locked but the sign said open so the lady that was walking away I said Ma'am to her she turned around and yelled like really yelled I'm helping a customer i will be right back after about five minutes she came walking back up without saying anything else she rudely said what do you need I said I'm here to pick up the truck I paid to rent she said you aren't suppose to be here until 1 pm this was around 12:00 noon I explained to her that I told the people at the other location I would be there BEFORE 1pm she went inside and while walking in said I don't even know if I can rent you the truck I told her I had already paid for it she said It doesn't matter I'm having trouble with my system so I doubt I can rent it again I told her that I had ALREADY paid for it. She then told me to calm down (she was the one yelling) at that point I asked her why she was being rude she really went off telling me she didn't have to do anything for me I told her that was bull because I had paid for it and I wasn't leaving without the truck or my money she then started screaming at me and my son telling us we were on private property and we had to leave I repeatedly asked her to call the other uhaul place she refused so I called them myself the man who answered was Really nice he told me to tell her to just call him and he would tell her what to do she refused saying she didn't have to do that then I said this is bullshit yea I cursed at this point they had my money $256.00 and she was refusing to give me the truck I had rented she threatened me and my son with the police I told her to call them then she called another lady who came up there claiming to be a manager I tried speaking with her she was for the most part a little nicer she is the one who had dark hair then we walked outside and I explained everything from start to finish she apologized for the other persons rude behavior and said here are the truck keys just take the uhaul to the other location and they will finish up everything which is ALL I wanted to do in the first place. So without her checking the truck or the fuel or anything we got into the truck and went to the other location which everyone was really really nice however they did not check the truck or the fuel either once I got into the truck and headed down the highway it sounded as though the engine was going to drop out of the truck however the place was closed I tried to call. I made it to Mississippi but I would never go to Bic road again to pick up anything that woman is rude unprofessional and has no knowledge of how to do her job or treat customers

Need to better train employees on how uhaul rental computer system works. Took us an hour to get the keys and we had preordered online.

When checking in Krystal the retail manager was very nice but when I returned it, the manager(can't remember her name) was rude. She let me know that, "this is not a Uhaul place, we aren't making money doing this for them". One of her customers showed up and she let me know that I was going to have to wait because that customer had dealing with her storage company. I informed her that I was a customer too and that my money is green also. I was very displeased with the customer service skills. I think this was the head manager. I informed her that maybe she need to let Uhaul know that she is unable to treat their customers fairly and to let that part of her business go.
