I was not advised that dropping the UHaul Off at a different location in town would incur a $262.00 fee. Actually, I asked specifically and was told "that should be fine". When we dropped it off at the other location across town, nobody there told us about the drop-off fee either. Imagine my surprise when an in-town, 4 hour UHaul Rental cost me $401.00!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

It would be very easy to make this location nice, but it doesn’t appear any effort has gone into it. Cell service is not the best, making it difficult to complete the required steps for the app. Additionally, this was NOT the place I chose to return and was much further on winding, narrow roads. There was no apparent way for we to switch back to the original location. I will need to rent again at the end of this month and will be looking into other companies because of the app and the issues above.

The location and employee was great but I'm not happy that I was charged $14 for insurance coverage I declined while booking the truck and I was under the impression the mileage was included but I had to pay for each mile. Really not happy about that.

Your website should be clear about this location not being 24 hour return spot. Other locations did while this one didn’t specify on your website and that is why we picked it but turned out they were closed and had to return the following day as instructed by the customer service over the phone, which resulted in additional 20 miles on the truck.

The equipment did not run well at all. It was completely off balance. The dolly that was reserved was not present. So I had to go to another one closer to home to pick one up.

You cannot drop off equipment here when they are not open, even though U-Haul sent me the self drop off text and told me I should drop off at 1035, the same as when I picked up the truck. There is a sign that says they will fine customers $500 if you leave your U-haul rented equipment there at any time other than when they are open, and they do not open until 12:00 noon. Recommend U-haul get this location to change their policy and/or don't deadline customers to drop off equipment there 2 hours before they open. .

This is for the company, NOT the location. Your billing practices are underhanded. Charging $1.86 per mile is usurious. The cost of the truck was ridiculous.

Passenger door hinge needs adjustment. Was hard to keep closed. Had to slam the door shut more than once to finalize attachment. Stirring Wheel Key would not turn each time. Needs to be lubricated or someone not knowing will break off a key in trying. Great truck and gas mileage. Look forward in renting it again.

When making reservations i expected to pick up my rental at its location. I was told that the truck was already given out to someone else. I was told I had to make another reservation to find another truck. I literally had to way out of my way to pick up my rental. Lost almost half my day driving around when I should have been able to pick up my first reservations. I used 1/8 of fuel just to get home to load our stuff. The way fuel cost is now it's really hard to take i had to pay just get going . I hope my next experience is a hole lot better.

From before pick up until after pick up, U-Haul was difficult. However, the wonderful lady that helped me on my return made me feel welcomed and a lot less frustrated about my experience with the corporate office. I would totally recommend this location purely because the staff was amazing, kind, and patient with me. They also had great communication with me

I reserved a 20 foot truck. 2 days prior to pick-up, I was told they could only rent me a 15 foot truck. Now 25% of my belongings are gone because I cannot go there to retrieve them any longer. I had a 2 day window to get it and because I didn't have the size I reserved, I now no longer own about $5,000.00 worth of belongings. I will not be using uhaul or recommending them to anyone. This was the worst move I've ever made. NOT a happy customer.

The sole worker (whose name I didn't get) went WAY out of his way to check in my rental several minutes after closing, as I caught him on his way out and literally begged him to please check me in. (I needed my car, which was inside the closed gate, to get home.) I've used Uhaul often over the years, but I can't express how much it meant that he was willing to go the extra mile because of a situation that was totally my doing. I am moving to the area soon and will actively look forward to any chance to work with this Uhaul branch, and really want to heap any praise on them - and particularly on this worker - that I can. Extremely positive experience.

The floor was dirty and the roll up door was bone dry and needing lubed. I lubed the door and laid down plastic on the floor. But Connor at the drive thru feed place came in on his day off to rent me the trailer, he was awesome for doing so. Can you guys hook him up with a gift card or something. Thanks.

This place is awesome but your people that make reservations are terrible. They had everything messed up I called to fix it they said it was taken care when it wasn't. How they got it so screwed up I will never know but the people at the location fixed it. Will never deal with you guys again but would with the awesome people at this location

There is a problem with the locations suggestions made by the 800 number assistant. I asked for a truck to be rented from the gig harbor point fosdick location. After a brief wait, I was given a truck on Anderson Island which is nowhere near gig harbor and on an island reachable only by ferry. Then I was given 2 locations in Tacoma which requires 2 bridge tolls to reach and return the truck. Finally I was given a truck at the site I requested. But when we checks before heading out to pick it up, we found it to be 15 miles from home on KeyPenninsula, rather than at the Point Fosdick location. This whole rental arrangement was irritating! We did get the distant truck and paid an extra 30 miles of mileage charges. Not happy.

Honor reservations made weeks in advance. Have more trucks available so customers don’t have to drive many miles extra to obtain a truck.

The current amount of available 5x10 and 6x12 trailers in the Tacoma/Seattle to rent for a week is HORRIBLE. We paid almost 4 TIMES MORE to bring a trailer one way (which helps Uhaul's inventory) than what we would have paid for a local 8-day rental. The reservation line was ZERO help, and I spoke with them twice. Told me I could pick up a trailer in another state if I drove 2 hours ONE WAY, completely out of the direction of travel. Oh, and I'd have to drive almost 7 hours ONE WAY to drop it back off in that state! Yeah, THAT makes sense... If you REALLY want to improve things for the next customer, make sure your inventory is available everywhere, not just in mass quantity in some states. And why only 4 drop off locations to choose from?! Lots of Uhaul dealers around, but we have to drive 30+ minutes to drop off the trailer. That's unacceptable. The issues we encountered had nothing to do with the pick-up or drop-off locations. It was available inventory and rates we had to pay due to the lack of inventory.
