elena leeHow about not charging someone an extra almost $60.00 because the truck was “checked in 20 minutes past the due time”. I am extremely disappointed with U-Haul, especially the Belleville, Mi. Location. Did not tell my daughter why, or even that they charged the extra money, due time was 9:30am, the truck was “checked” in at 9:50am, and you charged my card an extra almost $60.00, not a great business practice, and I will for sure be letting everyone know about it this. You already charged me more than the original quote for this truck. Disappointment is an understatement, it took us over an hour just to rent the truck because someone didn’t know what they were doing, than the extra charges on top of that…..

Unit had qtr inch of dried mud, inside of vehicle filthy, tires partially bald, vehicle shook at 65 mph, drivers door didn't shut properly, vehicle missing side panel (obviously in an accident) scared driving long distance 1200 miles, ... I will never rent a u-haul vehicle again. I should have been offered a significant discount for renting a junk vehicle. Vehicle should be taken off the road for any long distance travel.
Deborah RussellI must say that this time U-Haul impressed. The people were very clear and courteous. I did like the online reservations, but there can be improvement on the updates the system distributes data among all the different parts that interact with the customer (i.e. one location gave me instructions that the other location had in error). Overall, however, I was able to navigate. The people won the day.
NELSON BACIGALUPOMake sure the trailer is clean!! The inside and outside were both FILTHY!!! When I got home with the trailer and looked inside it, is when I discovered it was filthy. I called and advised the owner of the condition of the trailer, he told me to let them know when I dropped off the trailer in Iowa. When I told them (in Iowa), they told me they charge $95 when a trailer is returned dirty. They would not give me any type of credit.
norman snooksThe trailer I was to get was blocked in by a delivery driver who left the premises. They had to get me a trailer out of a field. And it got stuck in the mud. The front of the trailer and tongue were covered in mud but it operated fine.

james jacobsThis location is a thrown together strange operation......as far as the box truck goes, everything seemed ok until I opened the back and soon realized a special treat......the entire back was covered in water/ice!! ...so I had to purchase a tarp to protect my cargo. Note: always look inside the back before leaving.....I didn't and got burned.
