Angelica BI will never rent another U-haul Trailer. The 6x12 double axles are way too heavy to lift on to your hitch. It wrenched my back taking me days to recover. No lift crank was offered to help lift.
Dirk HVery nice people. Just thought that with my Roadside assistance there would be help loading/ unloading car hauler. I guess El Paso"s location spoiled me. This was a self help yard which is fine, but being a first time customer I was a little cunfused. Once I realized how return on the app walked me through everything, it was easier. A very nice man their did offer some help. I just needed a little more orientation being a first time customer. But overall, I am happy and with this experience the next time will be much easier. Thank you.
James CUpon showing up at Weslaco, TX we had a reservation for a U-Haul storage but unfortunately our assigned location had no reservation in their system and when I called customer service they did find us a new location but it was a larger storage unit than what we requested and told us we would have to pay a bigger price even though we were the ones being inconvenienced and not being given what we were promised. This resulted in more time lost and not receiving the help we needed from family that could no longer help us unloading our truck at our new home and storage unit. We went with a different storage company since we could no longer trust U-Haul to fulfill our needs. When we called customer service again to request an extension on our equipment I was told I would get charged for the extra day even though we were the ones being inconvenienced by not getting what we reserved. Overall customer service on the phone was not helpful at all. Where credit is due is where we dropped off our equipment. The gentleman there gave us clear direction on how to properly drop off our equipment and made it a very fast process to get me back on my way. On top of the price we paid for my equipment I lost valuable time and money on this trip (around $500 and two days). Was not compensated with time or any money. Will likely never use U-Haul again even if it is the cheaper price in the future. Please take this seriously and own mistakes in the future.
