Staff was rude and unprofessional. When I questioned the charges on the desktop screen being more than my credit card charge, the receptionist advised it was due to the insurance coverage being added. I explained it was declined at time if reservation but the receptionist insisted I confirmed at checkout I agreed to have the coverage even as I was saying I didn't. She became angry, defensive and said the contract had been issued so there was nothing that could be done and walked out of the office. Her shop manager was just as rude, he began yelling and screaming telling me to take the truck and get out of here when I refused to pay for something I didn't agree to. This was the 4th reservation I made in about a 5-day span and due to the poor service, I was going to cancel all together, but I couldn't find another truck this size nearby and I needed it desperately, so I took it. This shop is not a shop I'd recommend to anyone- a circus act for sure!CYNTHIA M.

I arrived at the location to pick up the rental, logged on to pick up the truck and there was something wrong with the app I could not log in after making several attempts I called customer service, only to be told there is up to a 40 minute wait to speak with someone. Which delayed my pick up time for almost an hour. Your customer service area needs to be more efficient. Waiting 40 minutes on hold in your vehicle when your on a time schedule is unacceptableBarbra M.

The truck was very clean , but the problem was going at 40- 50 mph the truck was shaking , my original location did not have the truck I scheduled. I was sent to another location. Out of my way making my trip longer. Wasn't the best experience. Everyone at all the locations was very nice ! No problem with the employees.James G.

The location was dark and dirty. The truck was beat up, scratched and although mechanically sound, it clearly showed a lor of wear and tear. there were so many scratches and dents on the truck that i ended up taking over 15 pictures to document the condition prior to pick up.Edwin A.

Jimmy is such nasty old fellow. He doesn't know how to speak with customers. I went to this shop because its in my neighbor. Uhaul should give some training these kinds of arrogant people. He is the owner of eagle auto repair shop. So greedy person that he cheats people by lie to them. I booked the rent truck for 24 hour but this guy put it 6 hrs in the contract. He had highlighted all other things to show gas tank, mileage etc, except returning time that he put for 6 hrs. Which I clearly said that I need for 24 hours. But I'll return early, before 24 hour. When I returned the truck in about 12 hours they charged double fare and insurance coverage. When I asked for refund the additional charges. He started speaking rudely and using abusing words. So for that reason I want to alert peoples to avoid going to this particular shop. If you have to then please read the contract carefully don't just believe on his words. The U-Haul app and website said I couldn't get to my location at 7am and had to wait till 8am. When I arrived the shop said I could have gotten here at 7am so fix that issue in your end that was the worst part knowing I could have gotten what I needed to be done an hour sooner.BONNIENICOLE M.

I'll get to the point here. Online i specifically said no dolly and no safe to safe drive or whatever its called. Was charged for both. 21 dollars. Used a quarter tank of gas. I have pictures with time stamp when I picked up truck. Yet was charged 50 dollars for gas for 12 gallons. That doesn't add up. Times are tough as is. The truck has paid for itself at this point its got over 100k miles on it. No need to squeeze every penny out of the people who need it and don't have it to spare.Mohammad A.

I went on line to reserve a truck that I could pick up in one location and drop off in another. They told me going online was the only way to do that. When I got to the pick up location, the gentleman informed me his trucks must be returned to the pick up location. Since I had to travel 40 miles to my destination I know had to travel another 40 miles to return it doubling the price I was quoted for a one way rental. Not pleased at allSTACEY Y.

Well I appreciate the rental on a holiday Im not pleased with the fact that my reservation had to be redone many times, that the keys were not in the 24hr lockbox causing me an 1-1/2 hr delay because of this inconvenience no less in the rain had having to unpack in the pouring rain we would've missed if everything went like it should. I will however thank Tim the owner getting a hold of the woman in the office to come down on the day off and rectifying the problems helping us to get on the road. I only wish that the Uhaul mgr met us at 6:45am when promised to give us the keys and contract. I called 5-6 times to no avail but an answering machine. thanking you for the rental and hope the next time things will run more easily.lori M.
My original interaction was good, but when calling regarding a question the next morning, the woman who I spoke with was extremely rude and harsh. I asked to speak to the gentleman Tim, who rented the vehicle to me the day before, he was also very rude on the phone and said he didn't know who I was which was totally untrue. Both of the people at Eagle, hung up on me since I called back a second time hoping to speak with Tim. I asked for the number to the GM of Uhaul, they each gave me the wrong number intentionally but proceeded to call him themselves to complain about me. The GM called me directly and was very courteous. I would definitely rent from Uhaul again but ABSOLUTELY NOT through Eagle Transmissions of Levittown.Carol T.

Had a horrible experience trying to get my truck. Waited 45 minutes to get approved and get my code for keys. Pick up was at 10am did not leave until 10:47 am. Extremly disappointed and upset at this process. Will not recommend your self pick up services to anyone. Besides that truck was clean and drove great. Would really like to be composted for the almost hour I spent waiting for your company to allow me entry to your vehicles. And hour I paid for wasted .Matthew W.

After having reserved a 20foot truck at the Jericho location for 1 week I arrived at the reservation time of 1030AM onlynto find out that they did not have the truck, I needed to visit another location and I was not notified prior. I ended up losing a full hour of moving time and had to pay my helpers for an additional hour for free. NOT happy.Heloise K.
