My pickup time was 8:30 AM on Sep 1st. I called the location on Aug 30, if it is possible to pickup the truck earlier than 8:30 considering their working hour was at 8:00 but he refused because the previous customer was not going to return the truck earlier. So I accepted to be there at 8:30. On the day of pickup I was there at 8:15 but office was closed and nobody responded my call. There were a 15’ and a 26’ truck parked in the parking lot. I called customer service and while Micheal was trying to help me the responsible guy called me and informed me that he is in his house just beside the office and will come to arrange the pickup. The 15’ truck was delivered to me at 8:50 . I don’t know if the delivered truck was the one that I booked for or not, but my request is to be responsible on working hours even through the phone call. Hope you can provide me an on time service on future bookings.

If it wasn’t for the sign I wouldn’t have believed it was a U-Haul Loy. Looked more like a scrapyard. Why did I need to travel 30 kms past other depots to drop off?

Genilson SPoor customer service, the owner can’t read the request and loaded the wrong dolly, their was a dog displaying agressive behaviour when I was trying to inspect the truck, dog shit all over the parking lot, that place is own and operated by unprofessional owner. Do yourself a favour and rent your equipment at Dynamic training center, it’s worth the extra miles trust me. Not impressed at all.
Martin FDON'T GO HERE!!! Should have heeded the warning signs when picking up but needed to get things done. First of all he wasn't open and ready for the agreed upon time. A neighbour was cutting his grass, I approached him as the way the property was i thought he may be the worker. He told me he wasn't but was kind enough to walk through the literal construction zone that was this guys house to get him for me. HE WAS ASLEEP. We went into his little building to get things sorted. I needed to buy a hitch as well as pay for my rental. He charged me a flat rate for the U-haul branded hitch which did not match the website price (red flag number 2). I said i wanted to pay by debit and he said his machine wasn't working, ok. Then he told me a total that was way too high. When i asked he said there was a deposit i had to pay (nearly twice the rental price!!! red flag number 3). I needed this to work out so i paid by e-transfer and went on my merry way. Brought it back that evening way before the cutoff time. asked about refund and paperwork and he said paperwork wasn't necessary (red flag number 4) and that my refund would come by cheque. I patiently waited for the check for nearly 3 weeks then contacted u-haul to check on it. Buddy had it marked as a refund in cash. I called him on the phone to give him a chance to make it right and he basically told me it's not his job it's u-hauls. DON'T GO HERE!!!! I reported him for fraud but after reading other reviews I'm not sure how he's still a dealer!

Jane HThe office hours showed open from 8:00 am. We arrived at 10:30 and it was closed. Tried calling the office number but there was no answer and the mail box was full. A young man came out and said "He's probably sleeping." Had to call U-Haul customer service to find out what to do with the vehicle. Very poor service at this location.
Deb SWhile the location was close to us, the grounds were very muddy and there was no clear parking plan there. No one was available at time of drop off however everything was easy to do self-checkin.
dan gBooked the trailer for noon. Show up at noon and they were on lunch until 1. It would have been very easy to call and ask me to come a bit early instead of making us wait in the heat for an hour.

Michael PIt's a little out of town... but the person was there after hours. He was very friendly / polite and Helped get the trailer off of the truck. Seamless drop off. He was more informative than the uhaul cust service number and the Windsor ns location.

JASON CNot everyone uses the internet. I think customers should have the option of whether to get their contracts on paper or online. My husband picked up the truck and does not know how to use it, so ended up taking the vehicle without knowing any of the information on it. I got the contract on my laptop but the print was so small that I couldn't read it and was not aware that it had been sent to me until late in the day.
joyce gI initially went to Hodgson road location and was told there was only one 15 foot truck available. Then we had to drive 20 km into the middle of nowhere to pick it up. The low gas light came on when I pulled out of the driveway. Then I noticed there was a crack the entire width of the windshield an the right side mirror was cracked. It was stressful getting to a gas station. I had no choice as I had to move that day. I asked about signing the contract, but was told it was not necessary.

Michael MThe employee was unaware and unprepared for the pick up of the equipment. He forgot to gave the blankets and did not provide the information regarding a different drop off location . I was supposed to drop the truck at St-Antonin as per my reservation and ended up with a sms notice shortly after picking up the truck to drop in Quebec city whitout any notice of that change, which is unacceptable !
Marie-Claude MFirst off, the owner of this location is storing his personal items on the U-Haul trailers. I had to wake him up because his business was supposed to be open, but he was in bed. I did everything to make it easy for pick up, and nothing was easy when I was there. Not only that the trailer didn't fit what I needed it for and he told me a refund is above his pay grade... Really upset about this and seriously disappointed... 🤬🤬🤬
Jeff WI had rented a 26 foot truck and auto hauler trailer. This location is unsuitable for drop off of this type. The owner has a sign positioned on the entrance way from his other business which prevents a truck from being able to pull in with a trailer. I had to stop traffic with a second person and back the trailer up a hill to get off of the road. He has several junked vehicles and garbage on the property. Looks like a scrap yard more than a dealership. No one was present when i arrived. i waited for over half an hour before he showed up. When he showed he inspected the inside of the cab of the truck and immediately said i would be responsible for a cleaning. when I questioned this he said it was because the dash was dusty. $50.00 for dust is absolutely ridiculous. The lot is covered in mud and I had to get in and out several times to back up around the parked cars. The mud on the floor made more of a mess than the dust on. I have several pictures and wish to speak to someone concerning this location and owner. please contact me for further discussion.

U-Haul is our surefire , go to rental place for dependable trucks regardless of where we are in Central and Eastern Canada including the Maritime's .
Smart MI rented the trailer to be picked up in Truro NS. Received a call Friday pm saying they didn’t have one available. They rebooked me for a pick up in Moncton NB for Saturday. Arrived Saturday and there was no trailer available in Moncton. Waited a half hour while they managed to locate one just outside Fredriction NB. Had the trailer return location wrong as well. Had to wait over a half hour on the phone to get someone to change as you are unable to adjust the return location online. Overall a very frustrating day dealing with your company
Patrick DWe rented the truck for 9 am. We got there a few minutes before but the door was locked. It was just some house with one of those tiny homes on the property that had a uhaul sign on the door. We sat there till 900 and then I started looking for the phone number. I couldn't find a number to call and while I was looking a guy came out (at 902) and gave us crap for not calling. I explained that I couldn't find a number (was still looking) and he said he hadn't heard that one before. My husband went in with him to sign the contract and the guy gave him the key. He didn't go out to do the walk-around or anything. The mileage was wrong on the paper but we took pictures on the app to protect ourselves. When we got the truck to the house and opened the back, there was still stuff on the floor from the last move (bbq parts and toys). I've used uhaul my whole life and have never had an experience like this. I wouldn't go back to this location.
Bradley LTold me everything was good and charged me an extra day rental and insurance for less then 2 hours late!!!! Never mentioned to me at all about lte charge and charged my credit card with out my approval!!
Trevor AThe staff there was very helpful, and patient, we had a little trouble finding the location but they walked us through it. The location it self was quite muddy, but it was not a big concern.
