I made a reservation for a 20' with dollys, 2 furniture dollys and 2h dozen furniture covers in July at the UHaul 2 miles from us. Now I know it is just a preference but....my pick up place was moved to 6 miles away, that's ok. I called and confirmed twice including the day before pick up. I get to the second location, we waited 30 minutes to be waited on, I was addressed as "Hi Baby, do you have a reservation?" I am a 67 yo woman, totally inappropriate. Then I was told that I got a text that morning stating they had no truck available and the nearest one was 40 miles away. I had moving help coming in an hour. She made cursory attempts to locate another truck closer and actually acted like she could care less. #1 I did NOT receive a text that morning and showed her my phone. #2 She bounced around trying to deal with 5 things at the same time without finishing anything. #3 It was a take it or leave it situation which is unacceptable with a reservation made that far in advance. #4 she did offer $100 dollars returned for the inconvenience which I have yet to see. I was able to move my moving help time. We drove to the third location. The lady was very nice however there was only 1 furniture dolly available and the furniture covers were thrown into the back of the truck unfolded and wet most unusable and there were 32 of them. It was NOT a happy situation all around.Jason B.
I wish the address was based off of the exit instead of the entrance. That is a steep driveway and very narrow for puling large trucks down.Susan K.

Glass everywhere upon pickup. Very dangerous and also did not get requested tools. Will not be using Uhaul again.Margaret M.

The online check in was terrible confusing and wasn't working. It was the pits.jacquelyn D.
The day of return, their was a glitch in the Gas System and their was no gas so, I was unable to bring the truck back with its quarter tank of gas.CHERYL F.
It was a nuisance to return the vehicle to an unmanned location. I don't have a smart phone and so the whole process made me reliant on someone else. There was no notification that a smart phone was required for drop off. Plus there is the added inconvenience of not knowing if personnel might find a problem with the vehicle instead of leaving the site knowing that the transaction was complete with everything okay.Carol C.
