John PetersonWorst uhual experience I’ve had. Location was not well maintained. Equipment looked rundown and non serviceable. Dealer changed my return time to be 30 minutes past the check in time to kick my rental to 4 days from the scheduled 3. Which seems to be a common tactic among uhaul neighborhood dealers to increase average transactions. I would not recommend this location to a friend.

Phillip CardI was overcharged by 5 miles (the odometer start reading was 5 miles more than what was indicated). I received the contract by email and did not look at the starting mileage on that paperwork but I did note it when I picked it up. Also, the location office had terrible cigarette smell as did the van. I am very allergic to cigarettes so this triggered a migraine. I was not too happy about this! I should be offered a refund or at least a partial refund due to the incorrect mileage and smoke smell.

Courtney DeckardI guess the place was clean, but it was a a shop. I was told to leave the key on a desk while the men working there changed a tire. Good think I didn't have any questions, think they would have yelled the answer from the tire changing machine. I get it, UHaul is not their sole service, so they have to do their regular work.

Cynthia GedraMy reservation was confirmed for pick up at the West River location. I was notified 2 days before that the trailer wasn't available at this location? Why did the system confirm a reservation at a location that didn't have the trailer? The reservation system was problematic at best. Check out took forever. Insurance I did not request was added which required a follow up call to customer service. Got the charge removed but you guys have got to do better.

Mark FrattoI'll be honest, this spot is a dump and may seem scary and unsafe for most people. But the guy who worked there was great so I would probably have no problem going back.
nancy lyonsTruck had 100k miles but was pristine in the cargo area. . (Well, the rear door was a bit stiff to open all the way.) In person checkout and return by cellphone worked just fine. However, I found that a $70 insurance charge had been added, though I had not requested it. Uhaul was good about removing the charge, and of course Visa would have clawed it back if nec. I saw another reviewer had this same problem. Don’t know if this bogus charge gets added on in Edgewater or at UHaul corporate. Watch out for this.
Al GarrowayCould not check out equipment using mobile phone. GPS stated I was not at the location even though I was. Pickup location was changed from original selected location. Location seemed very sketchy and not well marked to find the person to obtain the keys.
Paul MartindaleNot sure how this happens, but even after submitting the reservation online without insurance, it automatically got added back in. This is very frustrating, and has happened more than once. Uhaul needs to correct this. Call me at 410-507-3423.

William HeintzThe truck that we rented was filthy dirty. There was alot of dirt and dried flowers all over the cab of the vehicle. Inside that back there was alot of debris including lots of gray stones. It was usable but super dirty.

Cheryl HallThis location was great, however, for some reason my pickup location was changed from my original reservation and when I got to the other location in Bowie, MD I was 15 minutes late because I wasn’t expecting a location change and the drive was longer and they told me because I was late they gave my truck away. So the experience with the Edgewater location was great but overall a very bad experience with uhaul that day

David CantyThere was no loading ramp included with the trailer, which the U-Haul website had said online there would be. We didn't realize this until we got to our destination to load the trailer. This made it very difficult to load bulkier furniture.
