I would not recommend since I had to travel an hour to pick up the unit and return to my place and travel 3.5 hrs. to where I was go to. U haul sucks at setting up to get a unit, car dollies.

Let people know that their account is on hold until the truck is returned. I use my debit card, only, and it created problems for me having access to immediate money. I understand your reasons for doing so. Just make the customer totally aware of this situation.

The equipment I ordered a week ahead--a 10-foot truck--was not there when I went to pick it up. Instead, there was a 20-foot truck, much bigger than I needed. The store owner told me that they have trouble getting the equipment that is promised to the customer..

Attendant did not know how to check out equipment. Received a call from the local office (Brunswick, ME) the next day that corrected the error. I had the truck without proper checkout for 24 hours. Everything was fine, but was disconcerting to learn that I didn't have coverage during that time. It all worked out fine, but not the way it should happen.
