Outstanding service. My hat is off to Mr. Eilers for going the extra mile to make it happen. He recognized & diagnosed two problems: 1) The car hauler trailer ramp(right side)not properly aligned & functioning freely and would not fully retract/lock. He(quickly adjusted feed roller & fixed it) 2) Car hauler Left turn/brake signal was not checking out. He fault tested the trailer wiring isolating the problem to my vehicle(left trailer brake/signal fuse blown) even though all my vehicle lights/brakes/signal where working normally. My U-Haul experience was horrible. I was notified on a Sunday evening (40 hours before my scheduled pickup time) and Monday was Memorial Day that I would have to drive 55 miles to pick up my truck and trailer. Was told they opened at 8 but they really opened at 9. This put me 3 hours behind my planned schedule. The pickup location did not have a computer so it took 20 minutes of trying to call before he could reach the Fargo, ND office to confirm my reservation. I received an e-mail thanking me for my hitch installation but I did not get a hitch. U-haul sent me a contract and I guess my receipt but the attachments will not open so I have no idea what I was charged and what for. Although self-moving truck options are limited I will seriously consider using other means than U-haul.Gary E.

We originally were going to drop off in Brookings SD but when we got there we found out the site was no longer a u-haul dealership. (Would recommend removing them from your website!) However, we were able to find the Canby location on our way home and they were willing to take back the trailer and do necessary paperwork. So although initially frustrating it all worked out well.Jeanne T.

Eilers was awesome great guys to deal with and took care of me, they care of their customers the only problem I have is with Uhaul. Poor rating here is for UHAUL only! Getting screwed on a 26' truck down to a 20' truck made my move very costly with double trips not only that but had to go an hour and a half to get truck when I should have gotten the truck I reserved in town! Guess that's how they get you for mileage. Not only that but even after everything they charged me an extra $14 which they could have easily waved due to their mistakes it already cost me a ton of money! I will forever not rent from Uhaul again and look at other options! It's Uhaul's shady way of business that makes these pickup and drop off locations look bad. They should look to not be a Uhaul rental place and go with someone else. Overall experience was garbage with F-haul if you want something done right go somewhere else! I was told the office would be open at 8 AM, the manager didn't show up to unlock the building until 830 AM. I had been on the phone with the regional representative, trying to figure out whether a key was left in the truck. While I was searching, the manager had driven up and demand to know why I was inside the U-Haul truck. When he finally realized who I was, and that I was already on the phone with the representative, he still insisted on using his own landline to call in the request (he was put on hold). I finally convinced him to talk use my phone to talk to the person he already needed to talk to.Christopher L.

Why are you asking about the locations? They are fine it is the U Haul company that is a joke. The locations work hard to satisfy the customer they have to because the company would not have any business if it was not for them. You would have to PAY me to do business with U Haul again and it would take a lot of money.Roger W.

Thursday, day of my reserved pickup, U-Haul computers system was down. This glitch caused me an over one hour delay to get the tow dolly. Phone calls and delays meant I could not get to my destination on time as scheduled. Instead of picking up the car I was to tow back at 12:30, I had to wait until 4:30 pm. to load. Over all this was a horrendous experience costing me a full day into the evening. None of this is the fault of the good folks in Canby, but I feel that I should receive reimbursement or discount on the charge.richard P.

we spent an hour hooking up and working on the right light on the car dolly. and still didn't get the light working. and we told him and uhaul reservation that it would be for 2 days. but was billed for 3 days. but that was corrected on the final billdarin G.

Canby is quite a bit out of the way, but we have never been able to rent trailers or trucks from your Marshall store. We tried this time as well and as always there is nothing available. We drove by and there were many available and still there the next day. What a terrible location for U-Haul. Canby was outstanding.ARNOLD D.

Yuur computerized system leaves something to be desired. I had to wait almost 1 1/2 hours to get through your system. It was a joke. The dealer had to finally call Fargo and that operator had to retype everything again. Why can't your system work as well at the check out counter as it does to reserve the equipment? I almost missed getting my other equipment in Watertown!!!!Peter G.
There was a fine mist of spray paint on the passenger side of the truck that was not mentioned on the contract. It looked like dust or dirt from previous renter, and we did not notice.
