There is not much customer parking.

Jeremy FCommunication would be the only issue no one even knew I delivered the truck for almost a day and the first time I asked to extend our time with the track nobody remembered, and then the other person called and asked where the truck was and I explained that I asked for an extension it wasn’t reported and then when I brought it back the lady called me again asking if I returned it but they’ve been there for a day and a half. Super confused on what’s going on there otherwise they were nice but yeah.
Sawyer HTrailer leaked water in rain onto our stuff. Right turn signal did not work. Uhaul employee helped a lot.

Austin M1740 El Camino Rd Atascadero Ca 93422 is the best u haul location in my town. The others have odd hours and have not had the equipment i reserved when i showed up.

STERLING BHave the fuel tank on full. Very difficult to get the fuel level back to where it was when you rented the truck.

Darren JThe reservation system makes getting a local rental very difficult. I needed a specific trailer for a week and went to my local dealer. There were three of the trailer size I needed on his lot. I asked to reserve one and was told that it could no be done at the U-haul dealer but had o be done on line. I went on line, requested the trailer I needed on line at my local dealer. The reservation was confirmed by email. Within the hour I received a phone call from -haul telling me that I could not get the trailer I wanted in the time slot needed at the local dealer. I had to drive thirty miles, one way, to get the trailer needed . My local dealer is 6 miles away round trip. The reservation system caused me to drive 50 miles to pickup the trailer, take home to load, and return when done. No longer convenient to use U-haul.

Nazaree JOwner decided to email me after giving them a bad review accusing me of lying when they obviously have no clue how their business is run if they think this is a one off experience. I have used them twice and both times they have charged me for things they didn’t provide and then accused me of stealing so yes I will tell people about my horrible experience with this location and won’t be bullied into silence. Use them at your own risk and if you want them to actually give you your money back in a timely fashion report them to corporate like I did. But do expect the owner to email you back and make back handed remarks because that’s how this location does things apparently.
Adrianne FLady in charge was not customer friendly nor greeted customers as they walked in. Place smelled like cigarettes and the lady insisted I lift and mount the equipment myself because she said her back hurt rather than have help on duty. Something they need to improve is customer service and

Kurt HAdvertising a price knowing it’ll cost at least twice that much is not fair advertisement. The rental doesn’t account for mileage AND gas. What exactly is the rental fee if it doesn’t account for any mileage or gas?

Al FThe guy “working” there had one entrance blocked with car and the other with a RV. Then got mad when asked to move the car. Grabbed a jumper pack to jump start the battery and moved it into a parking spot. Definitely would not feel safe sending my wife to this location for anything.

Angela EI've used Uhaul for many years but was very disappointed with my experience this time. Uhaul confirmed my reservation a week ahead of time, then moved it to a location 25 miles a few days before. The morning of my reservation the local site confirmed my reservation, but then the Uhaul call center called me 30 minutes before I was supposed to pick up my van to say my reservation was cancelled. I called El Camino Storage, who then confirmed my van was still ready and waiting for me. I was very impressed by El Camino, but very disappointed with Uhaul as a whole. I don't know if I'll ever use Uhaul again

David MI rented a trailer. The dimensions listed on the website were apparently the EXTERIOR dimensions of the trailer and not the interior dimensions of the actual usable area of the trailer. I intended to haul a 42”x 48” box with a 4’x7’ trailer and it did not fit. Confirm the INTERIOR dimensions of the trailer to confirm that your load will fit
