My original order for 6'x12' trailer was given away at the Katy Highway location. I was referred to the Eldridge location as a replacement. When I arrived at 2p, the door was locked and sign said closed. I made several calls to the location and to Uhaul and was transferred to voicemails without resolution for about an hour. I had scheduled movers and needed this rental. The mgr at the Eldrdige location called me back and said to come into the office. They apparently had been in the storage facility with no one at the front desk or any message that they would be back. She proceeded to tell me several times she doesn't work for Uhaul and only uses Uhaul to generate foot traffic for her storage facility. She was rude and unapologetic. She made it difficult to get into the storage yard by trying to direct us into another entrance (out of spite I suppose). I hooked up the trailer after waiting several minutes since I have rented many trailers in the past. Upon trying to exit, she denied my exit and insisted on modifying the way I secured the trailer. She twisted the tow chains instead of looping them through my hitch. I've never seen any Uhaul employee do that and I tries to change it. It's dangerous to twist metal chains when towing. I told her so and she then accused me of being combative and threatened to cancel my trailer, even though I had already paid for it. I acquiesced since she was going to make a bigger deal and I had paid movers waiting on me. She continued to be rude and unrelenting. I have had many many rentals with Uhaul over the last 10 years and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Starting with my original trailer being given away, having to drive to another out-of-the-way location, and then having to deal with this person. Just terrible all the way around.Jon C.

Well, the pickup process was just ok, but the return process required confirmation of the truck's condition and fuel consumption. Additionally, the staff was not unfriendly; I felt like I was a diver working for her. Her tone of voice and body language were not conducive to customer service. Even though I refueled the truck before returning it, I was charged $12.5. The staff who received the truck did not verify and simply billed me.Nader A.

I rented a truck Contract#26387096 Angela Richardson. I returned my truck before time of contract but it was not processed to almost closing time @4:46pm so I was charged an extra day on top of my deposit. I have never had an issue with my truck rentals and as you can see I have rented plenty. I am requesting my correct refund. This is unexceptable. I scheduled a rental at 3pm. I didn't realize there was a window to pick up. I just thought if I pay for the time I get it when I want. The rental got canceled. I rescheduled a reservation for 9PM AT NIGHT TO MOVE OUT and the truck provided had a low tire pressure light on. Customer service had me on hold for 40min and offered roadside assistance, when they transferred my call, the call dropped. The most horrendous moving experience in my adult life. I can't believe I had to pay $90 to move at 9pm at night on a flat tire. Never using y'all againCessena P.

I rent a 10' van on 07/08. The truck was an old one. We have been charged wrongly fo $43 for the fuel. The fuel truck indicator was faulty from the beginning: tilting from 1/2 when idle to 3/4 when in motion. I refilled the tank with gasoline at the end of the rental with $10 for a 20 mile total trip, to bring back the indicator to 3/4, however I was charged $43 for having returned the tank with less than 1/2 level. I would like u-Haul to reimburse me the wrong fuel chargeEmilia B.

I was screwed by your contract and had to drive additional 30 miles to return the uhaul to thr same place i got it from where it was supposed to be a convenient service. Your application is made to screw your customers as you made drop off is optional, if drop off defines the contract you should make it as mandatory or put a bigger note about the difference between a local and non-local contract. Your customer service was no help and asked for 250 dollar penalty to return to the closest location. It is the first time it have this kind of service and confusion and be assured it is the last time i use u-haul.Maher A.

Norma was friendly and able to get me set up quickly and the vehicle was clean. The only issue I had was when returning the truck, the check-in platform would not accept the picture of the odometer, even after several attempts. Luckily the facility was still open and the gentleman inside was able to get me squared away. Overall, a good experience.laura L.
