Dawn DUhaul at a gas station is a BRILLIANT idea; much longer hours that normal places. A bit crowded because the area is so busy on a Saturday, but not a problem. Owners of gas station are working their tails off doing a good job, and even when the UHAUL website was having problems they were willing and able to work around it to solve the problem (the issue was 100% UHAUL, not the location; website had been glitchy the previous night & the customer support people were already into a very, very long long day by 11 am).

Julie AMy experience with this location was a little above average. The location did not reflect my renting a dolly, however upon seeing on near the bathroom I was able to rent it. The person working at the convenience store who was also U-haul rep was very kind.
Brianna WWe we weren’t able to rent it longer. So it’s hard to get our stuff to the dump in a timely manner cause we are older and slower. And the dump makes it hard on us being full all the time.

Carlos MBEWARE OF THE ESTIMATED COST! When reserving the rental online, the system did NOT explain the refueling options and their costs! So, the estimated cost was misleading resulting in me making the reservation based on low cost estimate. Had I known up front what the TOTAL cost would have been, I would not have made the reservation. U-Haul ripped me off!!!! By the way, my complaint has to do with the company, not the location.

Kristin SI reserved a truck with a furniture dolly and moving blankets and paid accordingly. When I arrive I’m told they don’t have the dolly or blankets. I was instructed to go to an El Cajon location if I needed those things. Why list these things and charge for them if they are not available? Also, the inside of the truck was wet due to a leaky roof. Pretty disappointing.

Rocky VI made a reservation online, was given a total for the cost, when I picked up the truck they had given out one of the furniture dolly's I had reserved so they had me take the appliance dolly we thought for free, when I returned the truck with more gas than it already had, we used the truck for just over and hour and put 4 miles on the truck, the cost went to $75.00 and change, then I noticed on my bank I was charged $101.00 and change, finally to have someone call the next day and accuse me of not returning the dolly's....Never again $101.00 for just over an hour and 4 miles, is robbery! I feel scammed.....

James MChecking out went fine. Checking in was HORRIBLE! The app wouldnt work. The guy working there was very rude. Had to make a second trip. Funny thing. Headlight was out, reported it, but they rented it out again the same day!
Darcy JLocation was easy and convenient. Truck was ok. Clean inside and in the box. Truck itself was a little rough. Minor things like no knobs on the window cranks. Check engine light was on. But it worked for my needs. The rental transaction was painless. Clerk was courteous and quick.

Jennifer KThis was my selected drop off location and on my U-Haul contract. When I arrived, I was told my drop off location was a different place. The Lake Murray Chevron staff, Zena, was very helpful. She wanted to make sure I did not incur additional $$$ for dropping off in the supposed wrong location. I had to call U-Haul on the phone to get this all corrected. Finally it was resolved and I was able to drop it off at my chosen location.
Todd SI would. just recommend going to an actual uhaul store and not a gas station. especially early morning when everyone’s trying to get their coffee.

Yasin ATire Pressure Monitor System indicated all 4 tires were low on air. TPS remained on even after putting air in the tires. The check in system timed me out before I could even get to the truck, 2 minutes. The check in time on the system indicated a return in 2 hours not the 6 I requested. Because the dash using LED lights, it is very difficult to get a photo of the mileage using a cell phone as it "flickers" in the camera. Need a better method.

marlene cYes, but....they didn't have the amount of blankets I ordered. I brought it back (1) hour late and the attendant said I would be charged for 2 days. I was charged for 1 day after I questioned it......shouldn't I have only been charged for the extra hour. I was too tired to pursue this further.
Sharon Sso I think the staff is very nice and friendly and a great location, however the truck was very poorly maintained, filthy and in need of an oil change and so much other maintenance as well. But again I so glad I was able to take care of the few things that I needed to do and I made sure to clean and wash the truck for them before bringing it back but it was filthy when I picked it up

Roger SI had a poor experience with Uhaul. I’ve yet to receive a reservation reimbursement that was to remedy the issue we encountered. I’ve followed up twice now to no reimbursement being processed. Would not recommend nor use Uhaul in future. I made online reservation for specific time for pick up. My vehicle was not ready. Another available vehicle on site could not be substituted as it was “ reserved” for another party. We got rental an hour past scheduled reservation. Customer service did not appear to be a priority.

Chad CDuring both pickup and dropoff, the worker who helped me interrupted our transaction to check out multiple other customers. He helped so many other people that despite showing up early for pickup and dropoff and checking in online, I wasn't out the door until well after my pickup appointment, and my return wasn't processed until after my dropoff time.

Frank MWe rented a 15 foot moving truck for an in town move. Inside cab has trash and the back of the bed had glass shattered in the back. The guy at the front counter was busy so we had to ask for a broom and clean the truck out before we used it and we didn’t get a discount!
