Christopher OThe drop off process after business hours is incredibly frustrating. The app and website both struggled to recognize my location and to process the photos I uploaded. The app proved to be entirely useless, and I had to refresh the website easily 20 times to get anything to work. What should have been a simple drop off took roughly 45 minutes.

Deme GEquipment was no swapped at the moment of pickup. Everything else went well, except for the fuel. The Associate who took care of us said that we needed to return the truck with a 1/4 of a tank, which we did. But at the checkout, we got charged 13.60 for gas. Disappointing.
Angelica PAfter I rented the U haul I could not get my storage, I had to take the U-Haul back because of this and I was charged a full day for raking it 3 miles and returning it within an hour. I asked for a credit so I can use the U-Haul a different day and I am dissatisfied with this outcome!! Also the gas gauge was incorrect on my paperwork.

Also, I booked for movers but didn’t show up and the lady at the front doesn’t care and no help like you’re on your own. This place needs someone who at least care for your customer at least empathy.
Jennifer DTOTALLY FRUSTRATED RENTED A UHAUL TRUCK FOR 19.95 AND MOVERS DIDNT SHOW SO WE DROVE 8 MILES TOTAL AND THEY SHOW WE DROVE50 MILES AT .89 WE WERE QUOTED .69C AND GAS GUAGE DIDNT MOVE SO WHY WAS MY ACCT CHARGED 95.02 AND WAS 20.95? I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN FOR ANY FAMILY MEMBERS.THEN TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THE SALES REP HAD A BLOSSE ATTITUDE AND MADE US GO OUT IN RAIN TO FIND TRUCK.
fredis BI returned the Uhaul Van the same day way before my alloted time ( 2 hrs. in advance). I had spoken with customer service( rep was very helpful and patient even close to her clocking out time), the day I returned it and she asked me to email her pictures of Van ,which i did and she even made notes for the location to see as proof for proper return. They still charged me extra as, my email statement showed that I returned it the next morning. I had to call once again to correct their mistake and was refunded the extra charge,( the young lady was very helpful). I'm still very disappointed.

Mickey TTerrible experience. The first truck had warnings about service needing to be done. Second trick also did and the air conditioner work on and off. Also was lied to by the agent. Said I could return at any uhaul. Turned out that was a lie. Terrible experience.
Shawn AWay too many fees that were not explained to me at all If i knew about all the extra fees i would have never used uhaul And the person that i had to deal with at the Katy Ranch location was rude, unhelpful, with no people skills at all , a complete jerk to be honest And when i went to return the truck he closed the location 45 mins early than the posted closing time Will probably never use uhaul again Be upfront with your fees.

CHARLES WThe vehicle s gas and mileage was off when I started it, it also had a flat tire which I had to air up 3 times in the 2 days I had the vehicle. The vehicle was modernity clean and the airconditioning worked so I was ok with the rental. The last rental from this location had bad breaks and the drivers door kept showing ajar but the door was closed. Maintenance on the vehicles could be better, but the staff is too rate and it was easy and quick to get the rental and to extend the rental.

Adolfo LPickup for truck was for 8 am via key in lockbox. This was was confirmed 4 days earlier by making a personal visit to the pickup location. On the day of the pickup the lockbox pickup had not been setup so I had to wait till 9 am for the manager (Don) to show up. Note that the manager showed up at 9:05 am. (I had several people waiting for me to arrive with the U-Haul truck.) Don’s response to my situation was that his store opens up at 9 am. He had no comment when I told him about the lockbox pickup system. Don has extraordinarily bad customer service interaction skills. Maybe he was having a bad day, but I will never do business with him again. Hopefully U-Haul management can help Don in his customer service skills. Empathy and taking responsibility for mistakes would be a good start. The truck barely started the first time and after it was loaded it almost didn’t start. Because of this I kept the truck running until it was returned.

Abishai IThe website let me rent blankets for this site, but the person at the desk said they don't have them and that they never have them. He said there is no way to tell the web registration that they don't have them. At checkout, the paperwork said the tank was at 1/4, but it was on E. I had to return to the desk to get a credit. The mileage was also off by 60 miles, but I only noticed that 5 miles away. I had to call to get that corrected, but I still got billed for it. I contested the bill at the time of truck return, but that was ignored. I finally called again to get that fixed. Love your trucks, but you are just screwing people with a lack of attention to detail.
John CManagement was rude. I dropped off at 10 and was told I’d be checked out within 30 minutes.. I was not checked out until well after 4 pm and was then charged $40 for gas when I not only filled up right before drop off but I checked with the employee to make sure the gas I put was enough and he said was. For all I know, someone was driving the truck around with the amount of time they took to check me out and close my contract. I will be disputing the charge.
Mayowa Mthe only issue I have was with the miles per gallon of the 15' truck I rented. The information showed 400 miles to a full take. At that rate, I should have refueled at least 3 times. I doubled that, which turned into an unexpected expense. I was disappointed in the miles per gallon of the vehicle.

JOEL KMy u-haul truck was dirty! I had to sweep the trash to the side in order to load my things on it. I don't believe that it was checked before I rented it. My advice is to make sure that the trucks are cleaned on the inside when people are paying a fee to rent them.

SON PTruck had not been cleaned out from previous renter. Full of blankets, dolly and some personal belongings. You also might want to check the brakes
Angela DI had driven across town to rent a 15' UHaul. There were none available near me. When I got to the location, the truck was not there. (I arrived at the exact time of my rental agreement.) I had to go all the way home and then take an Uber back to pick it up a few hours later when they had it ready.

Varit KSo I only drove for 16 miles, and got charged for 3 gallons of fuel. So your 10 feet truck can only do 5 miles per gallons? Such a ripoff!

Victor MTo get an early pickup you have to do it online to get the key from the drop box. The online was cumbersome to use. Never received a copy of the rental agreement.

Rodney GVehicle issues. Rear passenger tire pressure was low to 45 psi not 75 had to stop for air I assume tire pressure indicator was on for days and no one cared to put air on tire 🤦🏻♂️. On highway truck pulls to right side needs alignment. Bad headlights!! Driver side points down passenger side to the sidewalk, was hard to drive on the highway since using high beams usually blinds in coming drivers and at front. For the price of $1.09 per mile I would expect a better or at least a well maintained truck.
Jose MThe woman who checked me out was nice but didn't know a lot about the trucks or how they operated. Therefore, could not answer any of my questions. Perhaps this is because it was not a UHAUL facility but a third party who rents out your trucks. The UHAUL website and rental agreement filtered many of the questions I had.
