I had reserved a truck for 6:00-10pm yesterday and didn't know that I had to pick it up exactly at 6 - it didn't warn me anywhere that the location would be closing at 6:30 and I wouldn't be able to pick it up after that point. When I talked to customer service yesterday they said I would not be charged until I pick it up but today I noticed a $50 charge on my card, and when I asked them about it when I was renting a different van there today, they said it was a cancellation fee even though I did everything I could to try to get a truck last night after I realized what had happened. I just not show up, they closed half an hour into my 4 hour reservation time. Then they told me "but we waited here until 7 for you." I had called them at 6:45 multiple times after I realized the had just closed to see if I could still come and pick the truck up. No one answered. Also if they were waiting for me until 7, how would I know that without them calling me and telling me? Anyways I didn't find it to be a very good experience. Also they left a dolly in the back that was not secured and slammed to the front and back every time we went up and down a hill - we didn't ask for a dolly and I know they charge to rent one so it shouldn't have even been back there. Also the back of the truck sort of smelled like urine...Allan E.

Two things - ensure the rental vehicle is available AND ensure the vehicle is clean, Cigarette butts really stink. Do the dealers not receive a list of reservations for the day? This dealer had no idea that I was coming and they had no vehicle for me.MICHELE G.

Everything was excellent. I was in and out with the truck in no time (faster than any uhaul station where I had to wait and go through sign out prices for at least 15 minutes). Dropping off after hours was also easy and lots of space to park.Kouros G.

Even when this company falls short on communication or faults with misinformation it's a set-up to fail for the customer. They have no trouble supplying the least while charging your credit card the most. Little you can do than watch as they charge 3 times the estimate for a half day rental.David H.

The pick up location was fine. However the process I went through in order to get a truck was a nightmare, and caused me so much stress while moving. This is one of the most disorganized companies I have ever seen. My pick up location and time changed twice, was confirmed both times, and then I called to double check and they told me a completely different location, an hour drive from where I needed it and 8 hours after I needed it. And when I get to the pick up location, there isn't a truck for me. They have nothing and don't even have my name in their system, even though I have multiple confirmation texts and emails for this location specifically, with no email or call telling me that it was changed or cancelled. The representative then booked me a truck for the next morning, and me being paranoid because of the way I had been treated by this company the days prior, I called to double check that there would be a truck there (i have confirmation emails for this as well) I was told that that specific location doesn't deal with trucks at all, only vans. I was then transferred to a scheduling manager who was apathetic at best, was offering me no solutions and telling me there was nothing available. She then told me she would transfer me to my local scheduling manager (Vancouver). I was transferred to Langley, then Victoria, then SOUTHERN ALBERTA. This company is a joke and a mess. Finally I got a truck booked for a local pick up location, I called immediately and made the representative guarantee that it would actually be there this time. And luckily it was, but 2 of my bookings were cancelled without my consent and without notice. I am extremely unhappy and deserve compensation for the stress you people have caused me.SEANA I.

Unfortunately they only had a handheld device which limited the amount of information on our rental agreement. My copy had 400+ kms and she only showed 285 which caused her to want to add kms on to this one way rental. Then the truck ran poorly on the highway and barely made it to the return location. The vehicle would not start after it was shut off. I asked for an additional 2 hours to be added to my time due to mechanical failure. The person helping me, added an additional 12hrs to my rental and I was charged for it. I don't think I should have to pay for that. It was a mechanical and I should not be charged for that.Paul K.
