We were supposed to meet someone at this remote location at noon. Waited and waited, still nobody. Called and completed the transaction over the phone. Note also that the truck we reserved was supposed to be at a closer and more convenient location to where we live. Lost time and fuel because U-Haul moved the pickup location… to a lonely and somewhat scary place. Please don’t do that.

It was the worst service ive ever had. Didnt check or verify the amount of miles prior or after or the gas amount. And couldnt get any answer when trying to return by calling or messaging. Pitiful customer service.
Judee BThe truck was pretty much empty when I picked it up and the mileage wasn't even showing. I was charged insurance when I didn't ask for it. The clerk was polite. Had to make a few calls to U-Haul to get everything resolved.

Rodney Cinside the office and waiting room was not an area I would want to wait in. I did not see any supplies like a normal U-Haul facility. it took a little time to get a printed receipt ( trouble with computer and printer. )

So why was I charged, im not very happy about this?

Very helpful and helped make my stressful move just that much easier. Thanks!
Tyler TEverything was fine except the truck need to be checked for possible alignment. Pretty bad shake at about 55 to 60 MPH. I told them about it the drop off location.

archie bJust a bizarre experience here. Staff were fairly attentive but weird and non-communicative and we’re having computer issues. Truck had super low gas at pick up, but inconvenient but I understand people come and siphon these trucks. Either way, got the job done and no problems with the truck.
Tyler Twell the computer added $198 worth of product without my consent, which is not Express Auto's problem but I had to dispute it with my bank to get it back. I needed the truck for a 4th day and they just told me to turn it in by Sunday at 4:48 pm at ANY Uhaul.

Lisa EWhen we dropped the vehicle off the gentleman stated that everything was good with the truck. We made sure that the truck had enough gas, which he agreed to. We made sure before leaving no additional charges or fees were due. Surprisingly I was still charged an additional 91 dollars.

Marianna Shole in the wall place. main door was locked. had to walk into the mechanics shop to get ahold of someone. they didn't know anything about U-Haul. honestly this rental experience was just trash. very shitty customer service across the board.

Robert HNothing, It's just a sub station that is not very attractive. The "look" of the place didn't really affect the transaction. The attendant was very nice and helpful.
Christina EMake sure they explain the contract and process of returning vehicles very thoroughly, because they will try to charge you extra for literally anything. They tried charging me an after-hours fee even when I returned the truck on time by 5pm (PT). We returned the keys as instructed. I had to call the U-Haul on Chester Ave. and Roberts Ln. in the 93308 area to complete the return, because no U-Haul worker was at the State Rd. location at 5pm (PT) even when this location doesn't close until 6pm (PT). The customer service associate at the Chester Ave. location who I spoke to said I wouldn't be charged an after hours fee, and she put a note on there for me not to be charged any additional fees as I have returned the truck on time. However, she redirected me to a corporate line to be sure. The corporate lady I spoke to was very rude though, and the she provided the worst customer service I've ever gotten. She didn't try to help. She just told me I should ready everything before signing it, but not everything was instructed by the workers as the contract explained. She should really be fired and not work with corporate, let alone customer service. I stated that I may have to mention this in a poor review for how I'm being treated, and she just said, "Of course, go right ahead! Bye!" At this point, I just told her to have a nice day. Fortunately, the area manager was much nicer and accommodated me for their lack of decent customer service and for giving me the run-around. He was able to make sure I didn't get an after-hours fee afterall.
