Byron TPickup truck was not ready when I reserved it. I was given a van and was over-charged due to the changes in vehicles. The guy was too busy to be bothered with uhaul it seemed.
Christopher BMake the return system easier. I was out of.state.when the return was done and the system wouldn't let me return if I wasn't at the location. My se ond.driver was and it wouldnt.let him check it in. Very aggravating!!!!!!

Don GI was charged for an extra month of storage because I could not come get my box contents before my auto payment charged. Why? Uhaul did not provide sufficient information to contact the location. I had to figure it out myself. It is only open during normal working hours and on the weekend it was closed because they were helping someone move out to the coast. It took a week to sort out an appointment to get my stuff and then I was charged for an extra month of storage for not getting my things a day earlier. This is a husband and wife team that does not communicate with each other well and does not have enough employees to be operating a uhaul storage service.

Richard CI drove 8.8 miles and was charged for 2 gallons of gas I also did not sign up for CDW and was charged $11.00 dollars. I am very disappointed with these charges. I will not rent from uhaul again. Wes was very helpful with my checkin.

Robert PI would NEVER recommend UBox. I’ve rented U-Haul many times in the past but that was renting a truck and driving it myself. The customer service I received was appalling. Hold times 50 minutes to over an hour many times and then getting rerouted to a department that couldn’t help me. I even had a girl hang up on me 3 times. My delivery was changed to another date without my consent. I had to raise heck for it to be delivered on the date my contract indicated - and at this point I was in tears. I thought by speaking to Sarah, an executive within the scheduling department, would give me some relief as far as somebody hearing a customer’s complaint and having some compassion. What she did was not surprising based on everyone else I dealt with. She told me that I needed to confirm within 24 hrs of delivery in order to keep the date. I told her that I did confirm and spoke to someone and so did my daughter (the furniture was going to my daughter but I created the contract, the contract and phone number was in my name, and I was paying for everything). My daughter’s name and phone number was only ADDED after the Box arrived in San Diego as a secondary contact number. She told me that my daughter was the primary person on the order- and then blamed it on another department for the mix up. Her final words to me was “well, your order got there on time, so what’s the problem?” What’s the problem? Do you know how many hours I spent on the phone just to get some answers? And that is someone’s answer- someone who is representing this company? Well she represented it exactly as I saw it. She was the icing on the cake. No apology- nothing. I was appalled! Spend a little more money and get the Pod or a trucking company but this was a nightmare.

PETER KMy reservation was for 3. I didn’t get get my uhaul till 3:45. It leaked so my furniture was wet. And the whole ride it fishtailed almost causing a wreck. I will not be renting again.

PETER KThere was no information visible about where to drop off trailer after hours. I unhooked trailer and was then told by someone from business next door that I couldn’t leave it there. So I had to reconnect trailer and move it to another location.
Kenneth WThis isn’t on the guy from fairway tire but I had a guaranteed reservation for my trailer at redline auto in Hudson nc and the canceled that reservation and forwarded it to gateway tire who had to scramble to make sure he could get it ready for me.

PETER KWhile this location was great, I will never recommend UHaul. The site is misleading. the "15 foot" truck was only a 12 foot truck with an additional 3 feet over the cab, the cab was uncomfortable and had no way to charge a phone. While Penske 16 foot truck is truly a 16 foot truck, cabs are extremely comfortable, and they do not hit you with hidden fees and insurance. Rented a Penske truck with unlimited miles for a week cheaper than the 2 day UHaul rental.
Robert BThe truck, while new (only 5000 miles) smelled like a wet dog had been inside of it. The outside was fine, but the interior was quite smelly. The man who rented me the truck was also quite over interested in what I needed the truck for, asking what I was hauling, where I was going, and why I needed the truck instead of a trailer since I had a vehicle with a hitch already. The entire experience was less than satisfying.

David BI ordered a trailer 2 weeks ahead of time to haul my motorcycle to the beach when I got there they didn't have what I ordered and I had to take a plain trailer that wasn't equipped to haul my motorcycle. I will never use them again
