The truck was fine and what I needed, however it was not clean. There were food and drink stains left from previous customers. The floor had lots of dirt or dry mud all over. I had to be very careful to keep form getting it on my clothing. The staff was courteous, but the truck was filthy.DARRYL S.

Trailer and trucks parked in grass area on a hill no directions or help from staff. When I dropped off they did not look at trailer or give any directions or instructions . The trailer I rented was not in balance at all. Every bump in the road, the trailer would be all over the road. If I didn't have a heavy vehicle and experience with a trailer, I would have definitely wrecked. I couldn't even drive the speed limit. Someone is going to get hurt with this trailer. I hope it was just this one and not a flaw in the design of all of them. I'll likely never rent from uhaul again.MARY H.

I did self check in and went to turn the keys in and was told I had to take it back to midway ðŸ¤£- this man was a complete ass I put the keys on the counter and left. I knew I was where I was supposed to be and he didn't know what the heck he was talking about- rude to say the very least. Not a reflection of Uhaul- because my experience has always ended up positive when things have gone wrong someone is always there to help which is why my family and I have consistently used them over the years. The people who run the fast stop have literally no idea how to help with anything related to Uhaul. First, they tried to avoid giving us the dolley we paid for (no one even told us they didn't put it in the truck, so we had to drive all the way back!!!), claiming they didn't have any (even though he was eventually able to go back into some room and get one). Then when we were returning the uhaul, the app wouldn't take picture uploads, so I had to go inside to have them end everything for me, but again, they have no idea how to do anything, so they just shrugged and said just turn in the key, making me worry about just leaving the truck there while still in my liability. There was no easy way to reach out to assistance through the app for instances where it doesn't work, and that's a huge problem.Elaina F.

This is the second time I have used the 24/7 pickup feature, and the second time that it has let me down to where I had to call customer service to fix the problem. My truck was at my location, but since the building was closed my uhaul account wouldn't let me proceed with the pickup (24/7?). Customer service got me a truck at a different location, but the 'take photo' stage of pickup was not working on the website. I finally had to go inside and re-do the uhaul order in person. Very poorly designed 24/7 pickup feature, I would not recommend anyone pickup a uhaul that way.NATHANIEL H.

My order was. a mobile order pick up/drop off. I was scheduled to get the truck at 8:30am, however, i recieved an email saying to wait until 9am when store opens (hours before pickup) I still had to have the truck back by 8:30am, which was not my full day rental. My email confirmation also showed a price $20 cheaper than what i paid for in person and my mileage was on the original quote. I ended up using less mileage, but i dont see how there can be that big of a difference.KENNETH S.

The floorboards where the driver sits we're filthy with dirt/mud and the interior didn't look like it had been wiped down or clean at all whatsoever - that was disappointing. With covid going on, it should've been cleaned and disinfected thoroughly between renters. It also kind of smelled like smoke. Also the tire pressure system kept popping up and saying it needed servicing with the flat tire light which was stressful at first. Always double check when maintenance is done to make sure that doesn't happen. I got scared I had a flat tire while on the road and panicked.Lauren S.

Try not to change locations from where someone rents the truck well in advance. This causes a huge inconvenience especially when paying mileage by the mile. Not to mention the truck was not available for mobile pick-up like it was supposed to be at 7. Luckily the guy was in at 7 am and allowed us to pick up before their usual 9 am time. We were guaranteed a pick up at one location in Nicholasville where I live. Had the confirmation #etc went to pick it up at the location and there was no truck. After some very intense minutes and trying to scramble around to find one, a truck was located. It was however in the next town over approximately 20-30 minutes away. While we were pleased with the truck and the new location it really placed in needed stress on our moving day. We were behind schedule all Day due to this.JARED M.

The check engine light was on, the truck had not been cleaned and the location is unsafe. I will never return to this location. When I called the number about the light that came on I was told that it wasn't a problem. The vehicle probably just needed scheduled maintenance. It sounded like it was going to break down every single mile I drove it. I also had to hold for approximately thirty minutes for a rep to answer. It was a terrible experience.KAREN M.
I am not satisfied that your establishment raises rental rent $5 more after emailing renters on how to avoid the increased rates. I was sent an email March of 2021 informing me that if I paid my rental unit 1644 before a certain date I would not have to pay an increase of $5.00. However, the following month April 2021 the company still charged me the increase even after I paid my March payment early. This is very unfair and I'm very unhappy. With the worldwide state of emergency funds are very limited and your inflated prices aren't helping an already crucial time. Have my Guaranteed reservation available. It was not. They let me have it for only 4 hours after much deliberation. I paid the same rate to only get to use it 4 hours when I reserved it for 10-24 with what was supposed to be guranteed or you pay me $50. I think you should honor the guarantee. I had to take what he would allow because other people were waiting and paid to make the move. In addition. Everyone could not even take a rest because of the rush.CINDY B.
