The rental location was not prepared to do business. They were out of printer paper, and had to search for a few sheets to print the contract on. They were unable to make change for the boxes I needed. We had to make a special trip to get change to pay for the boxes.

We chose mobile pick up, because we have crazy schedules... so for convenience it was better. Our AT&T phone had zero service at this location...My husband's Verizon phone did not have a strong enough signal to use the app either. The ppl at this location canceled my reservation and processed a new quote, without letting me know the HUGE price change. When I asked about the "hold" [on my card], he said it was standard... MY original QUOTE was: $19.99 per day, $25.00 for insurance. .69 per mile, or .39 cents per mile after 100 miles @ a promo rate. WE were charged 89.00 a day, $50.00 for insc. And we did get the .39 promo rate... but $19 and $89 are very different numbers!!!

Business hours are 9-5. I got there at 9. The doors were closed and locked. Finally somebody arrived at 9:15 with no apology. He just said it was a rough morning. The truck had a low tire sensor light on I stopped and checked the tire pressures. They were all ok. When I returned the truck the same guy was working. He said he knew it had a faulty sensor but didn't tell me about it when I picked it up. Never again from this business

Keep someone around that you can communicate with on the phone or in person .yes even on Sunday or after hours . Or take what you get . And make sure the drop off location has the right address .

The truck was great....the location left something to be desired. The web site and even the door in the shop showed they opened at 9am. I had movers waiting at a nearby storage unit at 9:3o, as the truck was to be picked up then. After driving from Florida to Tennessee, I was unfamiliar with the U-Haul pickup location. Arriving at 9:20 for a scheduled 9:30 pick up, it was frustrating to find the shop closed, despite signs showing it opened at 9. I waited 45 minutes and ultimately called General uhaul number to please advise. They were helpful and got me good info fast. The shop opened by ten, but I really would've appreciated a phone call letters know they would be late opening. I could've worked with the facts. Moving is stressful enough without all the extra unknowns. I appreciate U-Haul being responsive though.... Guess it was just one of those “stuff happens” moments!

Took forever to even get hooked to the trailer and I then did a light check and one wasnt working. Instead of quickly fixing the bulb he recommended to get another trailer and I was not gonna stick around for that

The guys in the office didn't know anything and wasn't helpful. The main guy wasn't in the office.

They had to change the light pigtail as it was frayed out and there wasn't another motorcycle trailer there. Had to wait while they changed it but the manager/owner was great in taking care of it.

Charged us for 5 miles extra mileage and we had bought quart of oil and added, even though we returned it with more gas than on pickup. Drop off was fine. Penske forever after this.

Please provide better training for staff regarding the size of truck needed for the move. In my case, the moving help I hired from this location did not show up for work the day of my move. The guys who helped were awesome. It was raining and the second trip was after dark, but they managed the job anyway. However, two things would have made the move much less stressful. If I had been advised to rent a larger truck, we wouldn't have had to make two trips. That was a management issue. Also, 4 wheel drive should be installed in some trucks at least, for moves in rural locations, like mine. Finally, basic training regarding efficient loading of trucks should be provided for all moving help.

Late for appointment, "traffic" small town traffic. Ridiculous excuse. The employees who got there before the UHaul "certified" employee/boss/owner of business was extremely rude, didn't greet my husband, didn't say anything sbout anyone being late. They supposedly had an employee who was suppose to be there at 9am to open the store, but they didn't, so the complaints were made to my husband. Our appointment was at 10am. The owner didn't even greet. Strange. I had called and spoke to a representative and they called the UHaul dealer and informed us they were running late. That was obvious. Also, our packing boxes that we purchased were not at the reservation site, they were at the 1st reservation site,.so we had to travel to the next county and city over to get them. Very unorganized all the way around.

I am extremely dissatisfied with Uhaul.  I reserved a 26' Rental Truck on 9-22-18. When we received the truck it had 1/4 tank of gas. While driving it began to rain. That is when we noticed that the windshield wipers we're completely torn and falling off, especially on the driver's side making it near impossible to see out the windshield making it extremely dangerous to drive. We also noticed that both doors had rain leaking it in large amounts getting both the driver and the passenger feet completely soaked.  When we arrived to out destination, Jamestown TN, and began unloading the door kept slamming shut on us and would not stay open.  When we originally made the reservation it was from Sparta TN and was to be returned in Jamestown TN as Rogers Auto Sales. When we went to return the Uhaul to Jamestown we found out that that location was completely closed down. So we had to drive all the way to Byrdstown TN to return it. When we arrived, it was late due to us having to drive an additional distance since we were unable to return it to the location that was originally told to us. The man there was extremely rude. He tried to charge us $40 for having it late. I told him what happened and told him that I would not be paying $40 additional because it was not late due to our fault. He then began yelling and demanding I pay him. He told me I was to leave his store and take the truck with me if I was not going to pay. I again told him I was not paying it. I then left the keys and truck at his store while we was yelling at me as I left the room. His actions were extremely unprofessional and I am extremely unhappy with Uhaul. I would like to request a refund. We paid $160 for this Uhaul to be in working order. Not for a Uhaul that you can't see out of, that leakes water everywhere and the loading door slams. Not to mention the absolute RUDENESS of the employee.

There was no dolly in the uhaul and I asked specifically. Because of there being no dolly and the weather conditions, I had to rent the uhaul for another day costing me over $100.00 more. They did not tell me that I would not be refunded for the extra gas that I had put into the uhaul so I lost $75.00 in gas. They also did not ask me if I wanted the extra insurance they just added that cost onto the amount I was charged. I really had a bad experience with the location I picked the uhaul up at. I am not sure if you will give me my money back and make things right but it was such a bad experience that I refuse to even call the place back to even talk to them about a refund. I do not want to get anyone in trouble but this was truly a horrible experience. Thank you so much for your time.

Fast, courtesy service, clean truck and great location! Newer truck with good gas mileage. Used this location in the past to drop a 26" truck off, the fastest I've ever experienced. My "go to" location from now on.

This location was actually closed,but when I knocked on the door Ms Krista answered. I told her that I needed a 15 ft truck for a local move. She said the truck was obligated by 9 AM the next day. I had it back in 4-5 hours with a full tank of gas! Krista helped me move to get my 92y/o M-I-L settled near her daughter for her last days.(She is terminal). That was worth the trucks weight in gold! Thanks UHaul and a big Thanks Krista for making it happen! Michael T. Fitzgerald

I think there should be a rate for hourly instead of the 24 hours if you are only needing it for a few hours. The cost to use it for 24 hours is an outrages price for just 4 hours.
