Truck was disgusting inside. Clearly not sanitized , it barley shifted gears :.. we were considering renting one for our move to Kelowna at the end of April but if the next truck is in that condition - it won't make it there. We also filled it all the way at return but when we got it. It was only 3/4 full ?!Sean F.

good online pickup, but online return didnt work, so the attendant was excellent on the return part. the cab had been washed out, but some water and dried mud were all over the floor and door. other than that a great experience.Giles G.
We used express checkin online, we found our truck fast and easy, the instruction were clear, the lock and keys was a bit different than other locations but it all worked. Return was very easy. It was online as well as the location was closed. But we just followed the prompts online and everything was smooth. I would definitely use this location again if I needed another truck. The customer service from the front desk sevice employee was terrible, He lied to us about the truck size we needed and when we returned I left my wife's side to get the car and returned to find my wife upset with how she was treated. I explained to him that the truck was lacking proper maintenance and he became quiet and shy. I worry that the next women to rent a vehicle from this man while she is alone may find herself being mislead and attacked by a man with no people skills and a disregard for women in general! At the end of the day he spoke to my wife with aggression and disrespect and when I became aware I confronted him and he changed his tone completely because of my gender only proving that there are men still working in the work force that have little to no respect for a women.Alana M.
Terrible experience. The guy we talked to was a complete jerk from the time we walked in. Did not explain anything to us, and we left feeling completely ripped off and taken advantage of. Not to mention the truck was dirty inside, including cigarette butts on the floor, and an empty cigarette pack under the drivers seat. He completely went against the contract, and over charged us and told us if we have a problem to call uhaul. refused to wear a mask when we were near him, saying he had a shield, and when i mentioned we were not in his office nd he was two feet away from me when I was sitting in the truck, he laughed like it was not a big deal. There are are many options, including three other uhaul places within 5 minutes, I will never go back to this locationJAMES L.
I was a little surprised at the $20 charge for dropping off after/before hours which was earlier than I had agreed on the rental. There should NOT be an extra charge for dropping off early!!JOHN M.

The truck I rented had a severed refuelling hose between the fuelling port and the tank. When I went to top up the gas I had used, I poured 22L of gasoline onto the concrete at the gas station. Also, I was not able to use the app to either check in or check out. I would like to be reimbursed for the gas I wasted.DAVID W.

The online pick up and drop off process is a nice idea and we appreciated remaining contactless during the ongoing pandemic. However, the youtube video states pick up process only takes "a few minutes". It actually took upward of 15minutes. it took 5min alone of waiting in the rain for someone to just verify our identity....Colin I.

I was charged $20 because they weren't open when I returned the vehicle... They had a drop box to put the key in. Why does it cost the same amount to rent the vehicle just to put it in a drop box. That makes no sense. is it that hard to take a key out of a box, is that why it costs the same as the rental? Why was that not on the original agreement? There was also a $5 sales item and it says no where what that is....Anthony R.

I had a scheduled self pick up, but I was having issues with the uHaul app and the uHaul attendant online did not seem to want to help. So, I couldn't get the truck. But the attendant at Fix 4 Less helped me at the counter and I was able to rent the truck with no issues. So, the staff here is better than the uHaul staff!Natalia P.

We moved from Grande Prairie Alberta to Maple Ridge BC (12 hour move) and we paid $1600 plus gas. 8 months later due to Covid economy we had to move from Maple Ridge BC to Duncan BC which is a hour and a half ferry ride plus one hour to the ferry and 45 minutes from the ferry ferry , and you wanted us to pay $4000 for the same size truck we just used from Alberta for way less then half of that. Absolute rip off and taking advantage of people in a world crisis. I'm so upset! We had to get a 15 foot truck because that's all we could afford, and had to sell a whole bunch of our beautiful household needs and give away our items because we couldn't fit it in the truck.David F.

The truck we rented ran well, and was perfect for the move we had to do. I have 2 complaints. 1#) when we reserved on-line, we reserved the use of a utility dolly.. yet when we picked up the truck they had none available, and made no apology or accommodation thereto. #2) We rented half a dozen utility pads, but were unable to use them, as the pads were soaking wet. I can't believe that those pads weren't checked / dried out before giving them to us to use. You should be refunding our rental fee for those.Margaret H.

I reserved a vehicle but was told it may not be available if I missed the closing time I may not be able to get the vehicle the next day I offered to pay for the night and into the next day but was told that's not how u haul reserve vehicles. seems odd if I pay for it it shouldn't matter when I pick it up....Donald S.
