The truck seemed to have never been cleaned and it reeked of old food, sweat, and cigarettes. We were sitting in old food crumbs, pet/human hair, dust and all sorts of grimes. It made my move a horrible experience.YUKIKO F.
Buy back box program sucks!!!!! Instead of having a system at U-Haul where U-Haul can look up your name or phone number to refund you for unused boxes, they make it difficult by requiring you to use an email or receipt! I will never buy extra boxes again!!!! I searched and searched and couldn't find the email from them of the receipt. U-Haul is scamming people with this. Terrible customer service!!!Abraham G.

Had to pick up truck at the Leestown rd location - that place gets 5/5 stars. Near my house I was moving from & well stocked. Those folks were awesome. More on them later. Then had to goto Eureka springs to pickup my auto transport trailer. I was able to hookup the trailer myself but the guy there said his location didn't do loading there. I'd never done that & was moving across the country. If I get an auto transport then it's rational to assume I'm loading an automotive onto it, right? Why would this location have auto transports available if they wouldn't be able to help me? Luckily the fine folks at the Leestown road location were able to help get my vehicle sorted no problem. They were awesome.John C.

when booking a uhaul online it needs to be more specific as to which location is the pick up location. for example, the initial pick up location was actually the â€œpreferred locationâ€. online booking is not user friendly.Ronald O.

I'm pleased with the overall service. However, I wasn't happy that I reserved a 10ft truck for $19.95 and was given a 12 foot truck for $29.95 to drive without prior warning or my agreement to the change in charges. The difference is small and does not really matter to me, but the principle is important to me. Everything was great. Initially, I received a call the we we would be given a larger truck, at the same rate. Then someone turned in the size we wanted and I received another call asking if we would like that one. I appreciated them doing everything possible to meet our needs. When picking up the uhaul, I was completely unaware of the $100. It wasn't listed on the on line reservation. As a result I had to go get the money for the reservation which put me behind schedule. I did not get adequate time due my rental (6hrs), instead I got 4, hence I was late on the return. I had to take my belongings else due to timing which put me well over mileage. Not at all pleased with the overall rental.Ladonna H.

Not charge 99 cent a mile. Make sure y'all information is correct so you don't charge me extra. Also probably have the facility opening the same time I need the U-Haul instead of having to wait an hour hour and a half. At 75 years of age, I'm accustomed to the Uhaul employee hooking up the trailer to my vehicle and then testing the brake/warning lights prior to my leaving. That did not happen at this location. I had to move the trailer to the hitch, attach the trailer to the hitch, connect the safety chains, and check the lights myself.bob S.

Did not know how to secure car on transport. Had wait one and one half hour for them find someone to do it which we had to pay the guy . When we got to destination we learned they never attached chains to secure car..food marts is not a safe or good place to rent car transport. Lucky we didn't loose a car.Elmer W.

I had to wait Aprox 30 minutes to be able to pick up. There was only one person in the store( minute Mart). He made sure to wait on his customers first. The truck had a bad smell and it did not run right. I have alway rented from U-Haul. However , this will affect where I rent again . The trucks should run well and be cleaned !angie C.
