It was an absolute shitshow. The truck & equipment was perfect but the lady was a mess. Wouldn't respond to our texts or calls until hours later, had to come back to town multiple times just for her to not respond in time. She needs to get her priorities in check and get some depression meds.Bryn R.

I would highly recommend the use of safety hitch pins for these new style of hitches! Luckily I had one for my own personal trailer. You can be ticketed without them if pulled over.David B.

We were coming from out of town to pick up the trailer. We selected a 9:00 am pick up time and our travel took us longer than anticipated. We were texted and called several times asking when we would arrive because they needed to close the shop to travel to Wichita and essentially told us if we weren't arriving in 10 minutes they would close. We drove almost 4 hours to pick up the trailer and were barely accomodated. It created uneeded stress on my associate driving to pick up the equipment and would have left us in a situation with no trailer after driving 4 hours.Sarah B.

The location was fine. However my experience with U-Haul as a company would be 0/5. I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance for a 26' truck and then was contacted the day before our move and told there was not a 26' available. The nearest one being 110 miles from my home. We were given a 20' truck and were unable to move all of our stuff which will require us to make an additional trip this coming weekend which will create moving expenses we did not anticipate all because U-Haul mismanaged our reservation and refused to make it right. I hopefully will never use UHaul again and will never recommend U-Haul to others it was the worst customer experience I have had.Ryan H.

Had to drive for over 3 hours out of my way and take about 5 hours of loading day to get the equipment. There was 2 reservations for the same truck, if I had not been early to pick it up may not have been able to get a truck that would have worked.Robert B.

I had called to confirm my reservation on the Friday before the Monday pickup date and the person said the dolly would be attached to the truck and it would be ready for my 9:00 pickup. Noone was in the office at 9:00. I called and left 2 messages at the number provided on the door with no response. I called the main UHAUL number and after being on hold for 25 minutes, I reached a representative who contacted the local person and said she would be there in 15 minutes. However, 45 minutes later is when she actually showed up and hooked up the dolly and completed the transaction. I was finally on my way at 11:15 instead of 9:00. The temperature was 103 on this day and we could have used that 2 hour delay to load the truck in the coolness of the moring instead of the heat of the day. For this reason I was unable to leave on Tuesday and had to finish loading the truck that morning instead.Angela D.

Plus answered my questions like how much money it would cost plus told me about everything I needed to know! We went to drop off and no one was there. Called the number on the website and it said it was disconnected. Then called another number. Lady answered and explained there was 24 hour drop off. Was a little uncomfortable just leaving the trailer without checking it in with a person.Kamela W.

My reservation got switched from another town to this location two days before I was scheduled to move. The morning of pickup, I drove an hour to this location. Upon arrival the office was closed and the agent's phone went to voicemail. I ended up waiting for 2 1/2 hours after the reservation time before the agent returned my calls. The entire experience was extremely disappointing and caused trouble with my landlord since we were so behind schedule. I would not wish this experience on anyone.Taylor H.

The location was not in Dodge City, KS..it was in Lake Charles, LA, which is probably why the managing lady was upset she didn't know I was coming. My paperwork had the correct location but she said she didn't know I was coming and asked me to take it elsewhere. She was frustrated and it showed. I told her I would take it somewhere else for her but she was going to have to call the location and confirm that they would accept it. When I asked this she told me to just leave it with her and she would have Uhaul come pick it up. She did not help my daughter and I take the trailer off until I went inside and told her we couldn't get the hitch off. She was quite unhappy but did come out to get it off. We just couldn't figure out the locking mechanism. She was in a lousy mood.Mary A.

Essential: All vehicles need a USB power plug-in. The customer supplies their specific cord attachment required for their phone. Everyone in the world can easily get a cell phone, really, everyone, everywhere, in the world. Minor details: My passenger side mirror, not the wide angle, was not correctly adjusted, I could not see the back corner of the truck without leaning far over. And, I could not adjust the mirror. The lady I talked with (that provided the truck) was extraordinary. I was in a bind and at a loss what to do about it. She had a solution and she went out of her way to provide it. She SHOULD go far in business. I hope her the success she deserves.Ari G.

The front cab was reasonably clean. Inside windshield needed cleaning and dash needed dusting. Disinfected truck before use. The rear of the truck was not swept out. Also the radio antenna on the truck was missing. I'll give them the benefit of doubt due to the China Virus issue.ted D.

The 24/7 service was not helpful at all. The office location hours stated opening at 9 called at 9:05 and was told they will not open until after 10 and my pick up was scheduled at 8 had to wait 2 hours and scheduled the drop off location with office person and the other uhaul people kept calling me in regards to set up a drop off location even tho it was set up TWICE! I chose this u haul because when I called in and asked if I could get a truck the size I was looking for, Shawna guaranteed if she didn't have the size of truck I needed, she would personally go get one for me. That is exactly what she did too. Customer service at the max here and I would 100% recommend Shawna. I wish every business cared enough for their customers to go above and beyond like Shawna did for me. It was greatly appreciated. If she had not done this for me, we would have had to driven to Wichita get a truck and driven back to Quinter KS before even loading. That was a huge timesaver.Julie C.

The 10ft truck was clean and fine to operate, BUT re-fueling was the BIGGEST PAIN in the behind. VERY SLOW and tedious. The gas nozzle would constantly click off on the lowest setting and gas would spill back out onto the ground. I probably lost a half gallon total.Stanley P.

The agent at this location was very accommodating and went well beyond the call of duty. However, the overall reservation process was not very good at all. The local people were outstanding and tried to make up for the poor reservation process.Michael M.
