Robin GI reserved a 15' truck with no insurance. I was willing to take that risk for the 20 miles we drove it. When I got my receipt, somehow insurance was added to our rental. I opted out of the insurance when I booked my rental. Could be the Uhaul website was sneaky and added it in.
Christine FThis was not my pick up location. My truck wasn’t returned and I had to go to a different place for a smaller vehicle that didn’t accommodate all the items I needed to pick up so I have to do this again some time with expense on milage and time

Neal HAt 2pm this drop off place was closed. We followed the directions on the key drop box to go online but it kept switching us to moving help.com. After many attempts to try to drop off our truck, we just shoved the contract and key in the box and hoped for the best.
Sharon CThe cab of the U-Haul truck smelled like human urine terrible terrible condition to drive. Pointed out to the manager and ask for a discount - the manager acknowledge the smell but refused the discount. Also had issues obtaining the keys.
Kevin KNot helpful. Charged me for 7 gallons of gas when I returned it with the same amount as when I rented it. Used the phrase “it is what it is” when asking why I was being charged for more gas.

MICHAEL AWhen I went to pickup the vehicle there were computer issues and it took longer than expected. Was not happy that the site didn’t have my blankets, they only had 2 and I ordered 24. Then when I get to the drop off site they question because it states I should have 24, when I only had 2.

Michael LThere was no clear "return" area nor was there a large/deep enough space to park a 20 ft truck. I had to park diagonally across multiple spaces.

STEVEN MI was not allowed in the office. It was freezing and windy outside. The price was higher than I was quoted by 60. The uhaul traffic rep had to call the manager or worker to get the price changed and it was still 30 higher than quoted. The truck was dirty, very old and high miles. Would never rent from this storage place again.
kristina cThe location did quite well. However, my whole experience with uhaul was deplorable. If at all possible, I will never use U haul again. I reserved a truck at a local uhaul about a week in advance, only to be told that it was not available on the day before the rental because I rented it too many days in advance. I was told that if I wished to guarantee a reservation I had to reserve it two days in advance, but that the truck probably wouldn’t have been available if I had waited that long. This was told to me after the first location did not have a truck available. I was then informed that it would be available at a location about 20 miles from my home the next day at 0900. That was then changed to another location, about the same distance, at 0930. As I was driving to pick up the truck I received a call telling me that the truck would not be available for at least another two hours. I was given the choice to go back to my original location in three hours if I wished to wait. No guarantees that the trucks would be at any of the locations at the stated times, of course. Thankfully, a young lady at the second location found me a truck that I ultimately rented. I has assembled a group of people to assist me in moving and had to make multiple phone calls to reschedule. I would advise strongly against using uhaul if possible.

John BThe lady working here is VERY professional. This was the ideal customer service. I want the management to express a gratitude to her and reward her in some way. REGARDLESS TO THE LOCATION: overall logistic department could done better job: we ordered a truck in San Luis Obispo, but the closest pick up place was in Nipomo. Yes, I know that it was a time when students move out of CalPoly in SLO, but this year there were much less of them. In general - our experience was positive. The track was in very good condition.

MIKE LMaybe clean the trucks out before the next customer comes in for the rental. Our truck had a cigarette butt and ashes all over the cup holders and all kinds of spill residue all over the seats. We had to completely wipe the seats down and clean the cupholders out before we could leave in it.
