It was a big shock that I did not get the size of truck that I reserved. I reserved a 26 foot truck. I received a 20 foot. That meant I had to give away furniture at the last minute. I also had to throw some away. I had to store others. This was a 600 sq ft reduction without warning. It was not mentioned to me when I received the confirmation call the day before. I only saw it as I was heading out to pick up the truck. Overall it cost me a lot more for the extra care in loading to the max. It also cost in the furniture I was not able to take.

This location misrepresented the amount of mileage and fuel used and tried to add $95 onto my credit card. Fortunately I had taken pictures of the mileage and fuel level before and after so I was able to contest the charges.

Van made a bunch of loud sounds and drove horrible..on top of it they threated to report stolen cause I was in bad reception area and they couldn't contact me ..they have all my credit card info and DL but threaten me with police and being charged with theft...will never use uhaul again nor will anyone around me after seeing this.

I arrived earlier than my reservation time but they helped me with rental process and let me have the truck and though I returned the truck about an hour late they did not charge me anything extra. so yea, I guess they are good people :)

The appointment was for 9am and the employee did not arrive until 9:05am. Upon entering the facility there was a dirty blouse on the ground and the attendant didn’t turn on any lights. After the computer was turned on, she asked for my DL and took a photo of it and then put the payment through which came to a lot more than UHaul advertises which was shocking. She gave me the keys and I went out to do the online pre-trip. Looking in the cargo storage the furniture dolly was not there as I requested so I had to go back inside and ask for it, where she had to call her boss to ask what to do; and when I handed over my phone to her to show my reservation she had Smarties in the hand that she took my phone with which is very unprofessional and rather unsanitary knowing what we know about the spread of illnesses such as the flu. The truck had McDonald’s garbage and was clearly not cleaned in some time with spit on the windows. The truck did not run very well. The side of the truck had scratches all over which I attached all photos online in the pre-trip. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and the costs were too high for the product I received.

Brought the trailer to my house and loaded it up. Next morning a tire was flat. Filled it up and took it to a tire spot and they said it was ok to drive. Took it to the wedding and unloaded it Next day tire was flat again. Had to fill it up and drove home and dropped it off. I would make sure tires are in good order before you rent the out.

Trailer was in very poor shape, straps damaged, tires bald and missing chains in rear. Customer service was very poor and they called me a day early demanding I bring the trailer back as they double booked the next day. They were very rude and unprofessional. I waited 15 minutes for service as they finished up there arm wrestling championship in the back of the shop. Overall was not a good experience and I won't be going back.

Since the day I used this place first time in February 2023 and experienced their excellent and friendly service, I have been using only this Uhaul location. Entire staff is friendly and always gives best service with a smile. Nice and easy location on Fraser highway.

Nobody was there. The parking lot was extremely inconvenient to back trailer into as the path is mostly obstructed by a fruit shack. Took us quite some time to drop off our trailer. There was no customer service present.

Pickup location was changed - I had to go to that location for more than 30 km away from home - this is why I made 60 km more than expected - and yes I was charged extra when dropped off. Then I got a dirty old truck, not like it was advertised. Instead of modern F750 I got an old dinosaur GMC 2008 in a bad technical condition, with licking coolant and a crazy gas consumption, full of rust and damages. Stickney cabin even with cigarettes' ash in the cup holders. Called customer service left my phone to the local manager in Vancouver - nobody even called me back. Awful service. I do believe nobody gonna even read this comment :) all about UHaul

Whoever I spoke to on the phone when arriving at this location (778-951-2900 was his number) was completely verbally abusive, rude, and inconsiderate. I was confused upon arriving at the location as there was no signage, just a truck in an empty lot next to what looked like an abandoned building. Two other customers looking for a uhaul location showed up, also confused, and we spoke about our situations and how strange it was. I called/texted we had a phone call where he instructed me to send him my license to his personal number via text. I did and after 10 or so minutes after still not receiving a response I called him. He told me he also needed the back of my license and I agreed but also told him I had a few questions because “it’s fucking weird, I’ve been to uhaul locations before and they normally have a person here or signage to indicate it”. After having said this, he took what I said as a personal attack and then swore at and verbally abused me for what was around 5 minutes or so. I told him myself and other customers were simply confused and that this seemed very unusual and unprofessional. When he wouldn’t stop swearing at me or get a word in I literally had to explain to him that I wasn’t swearing AT him, but that I had simply said the whole situation was what I had been referring to in terms of fucking confusion and weird. I explained that me and the other customers were very uneasy about it and that it seemed very unprofessional, whereafter, he continued to be passive aggressive and rude, not only to myself, but from what I heard to the other customers to. One of the other two people who were there said that the man I was on the phone with had actually rented out the equipment meant for them and essentially told him he was out of luck and to figure it out for himself. Despite being very uncomfortable about it, I provided my credit card info over the phone. After all this, and being already very far behind schedule for my move, he finally gave me the location of the key for the truck (which was in an unsecured mailbox on the road side of the building which appeared to be abandoned) and we moved on to the next part of the process. I opened the cab of the truck and an empty plastic bottle fell out, likely from the last user. The cab was dusty and dirty, overall very unclean. The bay of the truck was dusty and dirty, also containing an odour similar to that of cat urine. I had ordered furniture pads which were no where to be seen. After inspecting the truck, I called him to ask about the blankets. He instructed me to go around the back of the building which looked reminiscent of an abandoned mechanics yard with vehicles and old tires/equipment. He told me to go into an old shed on the side of the building and grab 4 blankets. The shed was rickety, dirty, and full of a large amount of uhaul equipment that was completely unsecured. I got the four blankets, threw them in the truck and left, about 40-45 minutes after my scheduled pickup time. The whole event was completely unprofessional, unsettling and extremely frustrating. He was not only verbally abusive and unhelpful to me, but also to the other customers. The return went in a similar fashion, confusing and strange with him giving no heads up that a man who worked for him would show up and simply take the key out of my hand without being able to communicate with me in English and let me know that he did indeed work for the man on the phone. I have video records of the truck before and after and am overall extremely frustrated, upset and will not be using this uhaul location ever again under any circumstances. The lack of professionalism and abuse that went on was irritating beyond measure, and actually cost me money as I had to pay to keep an elevator past the time that I had rented it for. I will be writing a review of this experience wherever I can and emailing Uhauls corporate as the person running this business has no place doing so.

I booked a 26 foot truck because I had a big move. My move was from Abbotsford to Surrey. My reservation was pickup Abbotsford and drop off in Surrey. U haul gave me Langley pick up Langley drop off. My morning a late was spent driving around unnecessary mileage I’m paying for that I don’t even need with a tiny little useless truck which they charged me full rate. I still had to ask a friend for his truck. This is ridiculous service. Very dissatisfied. Customer service agrees to give me $50 reduction on my billl which wasn’t even applied. Very disappointing how can customers plan a move with u haul.

The reconciliation is for the space to park a trailer. That was super helpful for backing up and placing the trailer. The actual location needs more lighting the street supplied lighting was barely adequate.

The dolly ratchet straps were completely stuck and the inner part that is meant to turn when released, was completely jammed. I had to find a metal bar to pry the straps out of the mechanism. Since it was an after hours drop-off there was no one and no tools to assist me and it took a looong time. If I had less patience I might have just cut the straps. :( Other people should not have to deal with that either.

Location needs a makeover. I rent from U-Haul at many locations and this building, especially the office space, is not inviting. Great service from staff as usual just not sure I would go back to this location because of the depressing office feel.
