The pick up site was horrible. First the guy said that he couldn’t give me a truck because he did not work for U-Haul. Then I called the the 800 number and the lady told me to drive all the way back from my house to the same site. To get the truck. There was Drug attic’s hanging out in the parking lot the man at the counter Lied to the lady on the phone saying that I was not in the store when I was standing right in front of him to pick up the U-Haul key. I was then asked to go get the The truck myself from behind a locked gate . I went back in the store to grab the key to unlock the gate as requested by the lady on the phone from one 800. The guy behind the counter then he had some drug attic unlock the gate who was arguing with me and telling to hurry up and get the truck before he lock the gate back. The truck had no gas and was on the e in the black area and had debris in the back of the truck. Of all my years of renting U-Haul trucks this has been my worst experience ever. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone because U-Haul is a part of making the moving experience easier this was added stress that no one needed and the site that I had to pick my truck up from was a disgrace to U-Haul as a company. Although the lady on the phone was very helpful with trying to get me a truck this was not an Experience that I want nor recommend for anyone else. Extremely pondering The thought of renting a moving truck from a different company . Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service.

The website listed availability of the rental at 7:30 am; however, when I arrived just after 7:30 the location was closed. No one arrived until 7:40 and I was told that I wouldn’t be able to get checked out until 8 am. They did not appear to have a good grasp of the self-service rental process.

The location has lots of customers that beg right outside the door and are milling around watching you park and go in/out of the store. My wife felt very unsafe.

The small operation the young man at the counter was great

i reserved 12 furniture pads. The customer in line before me requested all of the furniture pads. they got 58 pads. the clerk then turned to me and said they were out of pads, even though i reserved them. The clerk told me pads were first come first served and the other customer wanted them all. I will never use or recommend U-haul to anyone again. Overall horrible experience.
